10 weeks for MaxSize: 4 Days Weights
(First set is my Strength Lift)
Start with 75% of my one rep max. Using this weight perform sets as follows:
- Set 1 - 5 reps
- Set 2 - 4 reps
- Set 3 - 3 reps
- Set 4 - 2 reps
- Set 5 - As many reps as possible (MAX), it is a “blood pump” set
If I’m able to perform 3 or more reps during the last set, I’ll add 5 pounds to this lift the following week. If I stall, meaning I am unable to reach my 3 rep goal on the final set for 3 straight weeks, drop the weight by 7.5% and start pushing again.
•The 10 rep sets, using weight for a given exercise and add weight as I grow stronger.
I’ll run this program for a total of 10 weeks before taking a week away from training. Check bloods & health, if all is well; I’ll start my Bodybuilding Workout
Workout 3
Olympic Deadlifts- 5 sets, 5,4,3,2,MAX reps 395lb
Leg Press45- 5 sets , 10 reps 10plates strict
Standing One Leg Curls - 5 sets , 10 reps 55lb plate loaded
Seated Calf Raise - 4 sets, 10 reps 6plates
Jacknives Ab Crunches - 4 sets, 10 reps slow (per side , slow ,squeeze & hold 5sec , 15 sec per rep) 5/5flex/5 tempo (I created)
Walking Barbell Lunges - 2 sets to failure
Workout 4 Fri
Bench Press to Neck - 5 sets , 10 reps 225+ ascending
Bent Barbell Rows to belly - 5 sets , 10 reps 270lb
Dumbbell Bench Press -5 sets, 10 reps 110’s started
Close grip bench - 4 sets , 10 reps 185-175lbs slow
Incline Dumbbell Curls - 4 sets , 10 reps 35-30lbs (arms out
So I decided to create a new tempo. I’m sure it isn’t new but to me it is. I will be using it on core abdominals first . If it shows growth/etching; I will start applying it to a lot more movements . Max’s 5/5flex/5 tempo:style is merely an experiment to switch things up for more growth. Sick Busy ! Talk with you soon, had a good doc Appt (nothing bad at all!).
