Hey there ASF.

Been on TRT for about 4 years now and talking about starting the “kid” thing with my wife.

In theory I’m shooting blanks, but have heard plenty of guys getting their girls pregnant on cycle. I really don’t want to come of TRT and try to get the Test factory running again

Would adding HCG on top of my TRT increase my ‘viability’? Clomid? I’m all ears.

I will schedule a consult with my TRT doc curious what the bro scientists have to offer.

Get your sperm checked. If you've been on TRT for 4 years... how old are you and your wife?

39 for the both of us.
I mean you both have to be realistic.

She has reached advanced maternal age. It's not going to be any easier for her to get pregnant than it will be for you to fertilize her.

If she's not already she needs to start tracking her ovulation cycles.

Next would be for you to get your sperm count and motility checked. It may not hurt for her to have a consult with an OB as well.

Good luck to both of you though. Kids are a blessing 🙏

Only way to know for sure is to check your sperm count.
If you've been with enough NAC for years there's a good chance you may have swimmers.
HMG and HCG protocol can help significantly but would wait for sperm count results.
More concerning would be your wife, 39 is high risk and makes things a lot more difficult.

I know plenty of people in there 40's Poppin out kids. Good luck oldman I can't help with the protocols but can tell you to nut down hill. Like her head on the floor and ass on the bed. Bang her like you're a tripod. I have no idea if it works but have fun with it.

I thought we were talking guns here..

My wife and I started trying for a kid when I was 44 and she was 37. I had been on TRT at that point for a couple years. It took almost 2 years to get pregnant. After 6 months of trying we both went to doctors and it was the TRT causing a very low sperm count. At that point it's a catch-22 because if I come off TRT then I'm not going to be functioning correctly, however if I don't come off TRT the sperm count won't come up high enough for pregnancy. On the doctor's advice I came off TRT and we kept trying. Eventually, being off TRT allowed the sperm count to be high enough, and she got pregnant. It took a little over a year from the time I came off TRT. My kid is now 10, and I can now say it was worth it, but at the time it was a very rough road. TRT is effectively male birth control. If you're on it, and if you're older, pregnancy is a very low probability. You need to talk to doctors, and you need testing, do not guess at this shit.

Sounds like a good alternative to birth control

Sort of, but it's not guaranteed. TRT will lower sperm count drastically, but not eliminate it. Case-in-point, I had a girlfriend for the last 12 years, she was sometimes on birth control, sometimes not, she never got pregnant and we were not careful at all. The odds of a 45+ year-old on TRT getting a woman pregnant is very low, but not zero. So, like most things I do, I would not recommend that strategy, but it can work.

I was in the same boat, had too low to measure sperm count, jumped off TRT and started HCG and Clomid. After 2 months my wife got pregnant. I think Clomid did the most for my sperm count.

Same. The TRT plus my current psych meds have me as stable as I’ve been my entire life. So wholesale cessation probably isn’t even an option to consider.

Being off TRT at 44-45 was a nightmare. Shitty mood all the time, shit workouts, I got fat, workouts sucked, but it was necessary to get pregnant, and it worked. I think the minute she told me, I was like, "oh, cool, now where the fuck is my testosterone?" Good luck man, get the job done. By the way, love that at 39 your name is "old man" 😂 I have a motorcycle older than you (and I bought it new) :ROFLMAO: I was a terror at 39, that is not old. I'd kill to be 39 again.

Great advice.

Brother to be honest with you man, you guys might want to see a specialist for this, there's a very good buddy of mine who is on TRT and has been for a very very long time. Him and his wife have both tried to have kids, he has done all sorts of self-structured protocols with failure. He went to a specialist, they checked his sperm, checked her. I'm not entirely sure what protocol they put them on but he was definitely on HCG, with many attempts they finally had a child. It was a very long and difficult process.
From that, I have began to take notice that similar instances with others have also been credited with success by the influence and supervision of specialists.
There is some exceptions in between, But the majority of success ratios were under the care of specialists.

Email Dave Palumbo. He has a fertility protocol that is supposed to be magic. My friends have used it with success. He gives is out for free.
He probably blew out his balls on all that gear and ridiculous size, so for him to be able to shoot tadpoles, it is a miracle. His wife is a former pro bodybuilder and the two of them you wouldn’t think could have kids. They’ve had three back to back.
