Which Compound Surprised You the Most?

I’ve tried a few compounds over the years, and some definitely didn’t match what I expected—both in good and bad ways.

What’s the one compound that surprised you the most?

Could be because of the results, strength gains, recovery, side effects, mood, appetite, or anything else.

What were you expecting, and what actually happened?

NPP and Anadrol for me. Was always a “dry” compound guy. Test, mast, primo, tbol, winny, and Anavar were my go to compounds.
Decided to really focus on growth and ran NPP alongside test and primo. Pulsed Anadrol in 2 week bursts preworkout.
HOLY SHIT- my initial reaction was “this is what steroids feel like”. It was what I thought gear would be like before I hopped on.
The scale was moving in the right direction, while my food was going up, appetite never went away, and the size, strength, and fullness were unlike anything I had experienced previously. My mood, libido, and drive were all excellent.
Blood work was also very good throughout the course with the exception of some test in a carrier oil that I didn’t agree with- swapped it out and all was good.
Overall, I was extremely pleased with both compounds, and look forward to running again!

For me, it was probably Tren. The rate at which strength and body composition improved caught me off guard. The results were incredible, but it also made me realize there’s a trade-off between maximizing progress and feeling your best day to day.

Sounds like you found a combination that worked exceptionally well for you though. Good gains, strong appetite, great gym performance, and decent bloodwork throughout is about as good as it gets.

How much Tren were you running? I’ve only gone up to 175 per week

I've seen this protocol a few times and seems interesting. Instead of doing 4 weeks, do 2 week mini cycles

I think it’s a good strategy. I believe this is why I kept my appetite throughout.
Probably not the absolute best for putting on size, but I wanted to keep my exposure on the lower end, as I look at this as a long game being in my 40s.
3 rounds of 2 weeks each and the bloodwork and blood pressure stayed in check. I’ll take that!
