Legs!

Today was my 2nd day working out again.
I was finally able to walk more than 20 feet as of Monday. My left leg atrophied to the size of my arm. I’ve lost all of my muscle, 30Lbs in 3 months, 95Lbs since my peak, but I’m excited to be able to try and build it back. 👍
I did chest and rode the stationary bike.
  • 4 sets push-ups(girl push-ups. I’m too weak to do a real push-up)
  • 4 sets dumbbells pull overs
  • 5 sets band flies using high, mid-range, and down low.
  • 30 minutes on the stationary bike at level 9.

miss training my shoulders
my doc said I overtrained my shoulders and now I should give them a rest for a couple of months due to injury (semi-rupture of three different tendons)
someone ever had anything similar?

Dammit!

My front delt kills me every time I work it out but my stubborn ass just pushes through it.

I took a few years off always back in the day cause it got so bad I couldn’t even sleep on it. That time healed it enough I guess, just nags at me now.

yeah, been doing the same, but doc says I'm well on the direction for surgery if not stopping for a while...
now it's leg day every day:LOL:

I usually try to get rear delts, first thing. Most of the time before any other exercise. Shrugs, I just throw them in wherever, sometimes I will do a set in between each exercise, than do good burnout at the end

Did lighter weight Lats and all the little guys up and around the scapula, did my first curls since we'll before the surgery... they felt ok. I used the curl machine and kept them at 40lbs... so far so good!
Terrorized my Quads on the seated extension using increasing weights on each double leg set and dropped to +/- 50% of the dbl leg weight for the singles. The real terror was doing the double followed by each single, no breaks in between sets except to reassign the weight... needless to say I waited to leave... hate falling down the stairs on leg day!

I see so many people at my gym set on there phone for at least 5 minutes between sets. I usually rest 2 minutes max, depending on what I'm lifting. I turn my music on, then set my phone in the corner while I'm at the gym

yeah, that's what I'm talking about and that's how it should be brother.
2 minutes max, depending on the lift.
ok, maybe 5 mins if you're powerlifting
