It’s been a long time since I’ve seen that split described that way lolAnyone running this split? I've been running it like this: Torso/Off/Limbs/Off.
Hitting each muscle group every 4 days and also gives 48hrs off in between weight training sessions which is amazing for recovery.
What do you mean by described that way? It’s been a long time since I’ve seen that split described that way lol
I personally don’t no. Need to be in the gym more than a few days a week
Was doing that but then I switched to EOD. The 2 on 1 off, 2 on 2 off had me hitting each muscle group once every 3 days then once every 4 days. With the EOD split, I'm traveling it every 4 days. I've found the extra rest in between weight training sessions to be well worth it. On Off days I do my cardio.Yeah I’m running a torso limbs split currently. Goes torso A limbs A rest torso b limbs b rest rest

For an enhanced lifter thats not enough work. If youre on gear you need to stimulate growth and take advantage of the advanced recovery. If youre just doing hormone replacement and trying to maintain i could see it being ok i guess. I do push, pull, legs×2 with Saturdays off. Hit my core hard af after my pull days...Sometimes I feel like thats not even enough.Anyone running this split? I've been running it like this: Torso/Off/Limbs/Off.

Hitting a muscle every 4 days isn't frequently enough for people using gear!?That’s not frequent enough for me or most people using gear, but if it works for you hell yeah keep rocking. If I wasn’t in an aggressive deficit I’d be doing a 6 day a week push pull legs or some version of a bro split. Make sure you’re doing cardio everyday not just on off days.

PPL six days straight with one day off per week would overtrain me horribly. Been there done that. You are hitting each muscle group 2 times in 7 days. I'm hitting each muscle group 2 times in 8 days with a hell of a lot less systemic fatigue. Not sure how that's not enough work. More is not necessarily better when it comes to weight training. For an enhanced lifter thats not enough work. We can agree to disagree.Honestly bro if you’re on a gram and a half of gear, no.
You can agree with yourself. YOU might be overtrained and fatigued on my schedule i dont doubt that a bit...ive been on this schedule or a variation of it for the last 15 years. Theres levels to this sport, ill let you decide where "Torso/Off/Limbs/off" falls in that regard. Good luck.We can agree to disagree.
