How long will un opened gear last in your cabinet? 5-10 years? Longer ? Curious is it worth stockpiling some for when the world
Ends or if I goes bad just keep like 10-15 vials available instead

Its been discussed quite a bit already, but 5 years if stored right is about the max id trust an oil. Not saying they cant last longer. The compound itself is fine its the oil that turns rancid. But if stored in a low room temp dark environment standing up so the oil doesnt touch the rubber stopper then 5 years no problem. Ive got some now thats about there. You want to stock up for the end of the world id learn to brew and buy the raws. I dont know how long raws stay good in vacuum seal but id imagine its a long ass time.

I have heard folks use unused gear that is 10 years old. The carrier oil makes a difference. I believe mct has a longer shelf life than gso. I am a ped stockpiler (I have a problem) Bc of that- I am going to use test that has gso first. My unrational fear is something will happen where the price inflates.

I have injected gear that was over 10 years old with no issues.
I have powders that are 10 years old and are good as well.
Numerous studies show drugs tend to be good years past their expiration date. sometimes decades.

It was either GSO or cotton seed as that is what i used around that time. Most likely GSO as i believe i stopped using cotton seed by then. But i have used gear with cotton seed that was a few years old as well.

Depends on the carrier oil. MCT can last longer than GSO. GSO can turn sour.

I’d say good practice if stored right is 2-3 years. I don’t see the need to ever have or keep a vial that long. Even stockpiling you should be running through a vial here and there.
