If mods quit getting kick backs maybe just maybe these labs would have enough were they'd quit robbing us. Ya im wrong your right bla bla bla , we all know we know.

Labs pay off mods to protect them ya seen that before , how you say Extortion. Now some mods might say ya we do other's just be like na we don't , however we may never know the real truth , i bet if that stops so will the " exit scammerz ". Bet that....

well thats because all the mods joke about all the free gear they get and rub it in members faces, how is a newb gonna know if that a joke or not, and if a sponsor gets into a internet pissing match they are protected, as far as we can see only members get banned for talking shit. they stir up a hornets nest then sit back while mods close threads and threaten banning. so as far as we can see yes its unfair. I get it the are the paying customer in this business, but they are paying for access to your members and guest traffic. and it is the trusted members that say what sponsor is good and post labs, we dont get anything out of it except the input and help from each other, thats the true value here. we come here for the trusted members information and opinions. we purchase gear from iml and sponsors based on advice we trust, sponsor pay ASF and IMF. were more than numbers, we are the customers that make this whole network grow.
 
How about a lab just step up and do it? I mean if someone has faith in what they are doing why not?

You would need to submit a copy of the email confirming your payment to said source in the time frame the packs stopped flying.

I'm sure the original scammer would find a way to scam some of those funds back using that method.

And there is a better solution: it's called an escrow. Controlled by the board/owner of the board. A middle man with the funds. Sponsor gets paid when customer says pack has landed. Escrow gets 1% of total transaction amount. All Bitcoin gets funneled through the board before going to source.

Now that people are using Bitcoin it's easier than ever to do this.
I've been an escrow manager for an underground auction.
 
This is politics 101... there are always going to be some small variables but it comes down to what makes the most sense. an escrow system has worked very very well for ug markets for a long time. it is also a very secure system, but comes with its advantages and disadvantages. But overall the system is a decent fail safe for damage control if the proper system is put in place. not everyone will get a piece of the pie equally but nothing is ever perfect, and it will be a huge asset.
 
If I was to scam. I would make up a bunch of fake names, let them float around the forum, scam everyone that paid, scam back some of that saved money from the forum using those fake name with fake receipts. Then go out of business let those fake names sit in the system and redo under a different sponsor
 
Wow. For AT being a new lab that everyone knew was a scam you guys sure are ready to change the sponsor model.

I mean I love it but I think this shows that AT has its hands in deeper than we thought.

I'm all down for going after scammers. You know this! Someone give the word and I'm on it. I've backed away from that though as Monte even pointed out to me board vengeance does no good, I believe it does. The question of vengeance is a tough one, the same two wrongs don't make a right argument and the eye for an eye. Which is right? I'm just a vengeful person that's all I know
