Maybe this question is crazy, Maybe this is a stretch.

I was recently hospitalized for Rhabdo and a question was peaked in my mind.

Is Muscle soreness a good sign or is it a sign of something more "serious" ie if a blood test was hypothetically preformed during Delayed onset muscle soreness would your CK levels technically indicate that you need to be hospitalized? Why do i ask this question a doctor explained to me that when CK levels rise above 5,000 U/L its considered on paper a medical emergency that requires IV Hydration to clean out your blood to avoid things like Compartmentalization that ends up creating a blood clot, or breakdown of muscle tissues at levels that myoglobin clogs your kidneys. So is Muscle Soreness truly a good thing considering the fact that Micro Muscle Trauma is tearing your muscles and leaking out the protein called myoglobin which then regardless is filtered out of your body through your kidneys which can cause kidney damage.

Let me clarify what i mean by muscle soreness like ive experienced and considered normal for years i do a arm workout and cant straighten my arms and look like a little buff T-Rex and cant straighten your arms without it being sore as hell. Maybe you get out of the gym and 24-72 hours later after you do your leg day you can barely walk up stairs without extreme soreness or leg buckling. I'm not referring to just casual sore where it has no effects on your daily life at all.

Also for clarification before anyone throws a bone head statement like " thats why you need to drink more water or thats called lactic acid" Negative on both accounts water plays a very little amount on the onset of Rhabdo, and Lactic acid was debunked as a reason for soreness in 1980.

Maybe this is a stupid question but i am generally curious about this topic as through the years i have seen such a large amount of people talking about this being a problem after they go to the gym. In my mind there is no way that causing Micro Trauma to your muscles doesn't cause issues with growth of the muscle. Maybe i'm wrong and i'm willing to hear why but i am wanting to have an open conversation about this issue.

If u can't hardly move after a somewhat typical workout & it's been that way for years, I would have to assume u r nutrient deficient &/or a bigger problem exist needing a lot of blood work & medical assistance.

Obviously age, over training, lack of rest, nutrition, alcohol, medications, smoking, drugs, life stress can all play a negative roll alone & combined can devastate
