I have been exclusively doing bodybuilding style training for the past 10 years and have wanted to shift into endurance training.

Most of my supplement experience lies heavily in compounds that promote anabolism but I do not have a clear idea on what compounds are out there to improve endurance.

To be more specific I am looking for a stack of supplements (GNC type and/or the fun stuff) that would increase my mile pace and my long distance endurance (of course paired with actual endurance training).

I have looked around and saw a few candidates for an endurance stack but wanted to see if I could get more perspective on what you all thought is ideal.

Tbol is a good one. Not sure if you have looked into that one or not.

Cardarine

This mixed with 2g of creatine HCL 1-2 hours before you run.

I know the effectiveness on compounds depends on the person but is there a significant benefit with cardarine? I’ve seen mixed data on human outcomes compared to the lab rats.

If we're talking only endurance and improved running im surprised no ones mentioned EPO. Not sonething id run alongside other AAS due to hematocrit issues but if your only concern is improving run times EPO is the way to go. TBOL is a great compound aside from that for endurance. Ive not used Cardarine but ive heard good things.

Strength/fighting performance athletes would benefit from T-Bol, while EPO would be the choice for endurance such as cycling, long distance running, etc.

Get tbol out of there.

if endurance is the goal, things like GW, dada, dmg, ITTP, etc
All of those are unique compounds being seriously research for endurance and VO2 type max capabilities...i'd spend your time researching those.

Consider addressing mitochondrial function to improve endurance. SS-31, MOTS-C, SLU-PP-332 have been helpful extending my endurance and energy. The jury is still out on the SLU-PP-332 in humans. Many see nothing, dosing is all over the board. I like it. You have to evaluate it yourself. SLU-PP-915 is now coming to market.

My friend the running coach teaches nasal breathing technique to extend endurance. I agree it helps, but its hard to wire it into your brain when you are pushing hard.

Add to the fine list above Telmisartan to help extend range on cardio.

There are no studies that correlate Cardarine to humans and cancer put it that way

The whole rat debate was put into place to scare people from seeing the benefits and miraculous medical uses this compound can have. In many cases, you can argue hundreds of compounds when abused "might" be carcinogenic and that is what they did. They gave rats like 50x what a bodyweight dose would be comparable to be in humans and then said, Oh this may be carcinogenic .

This!! I’ve used tbol and cardarine for BJJ and Muay Thai and it’s like a cheat code for open mats! Just keep rolling and sparring- even if you suck you can outlast the other guy

makes sense to me. now that you mention the doses used in papers i see how stupid they were

how bad are we talking for hematocrit? would 200 mg/week of test be a no go?

I like DADA with injectable Choline/Carnitine.

Better Through Biology makes some pretty cool injectable, non-AAS stuff like the products mentioned above. And the owner, Jake Benson, is a good dude as well.

Endurance junkie. Anything from a few mins to ultra marathons with some 24 hour events on the horizon.

Its going to depend on the modality and duration of the event.

When you say endurance training, what are you looking to get into? Distances / times?

If I were to put together an endurance stack, it would go like this:

25mg test prop daily - this provides a replacement+ dose of test and test prop will raise hematocrit, rbc less than long ester. Elevated hematocrit is associated with elevated peak levels. Enanthate accrues to higher levels than prop due to the longer half life hence higher hematocrit.

100mg Bromantane + 250mg Bemitil - This is a Soviet era astronaut drug combination. Bemitil is a psychostimulant, it speeds up brain activity. Bromantane is an anti-fatigue drug, it allows you to perform at a high level despite feeling stress. Like if I had something like an end of month work related deadline that might require consecutive 16 hour workdays, this is what I would use. This will get you mentally primed.

10-20mg Turinabol - This is the best performance enhancer AAS IMO, by far. It doesn't raise BP much, doesn't cause water gain, it's all performance. It gives you a good amount of CNS activation & makes you more responsive. I'd take 10-20mg sublingually around your trainings. This will get you physically primed.

400mg Guaifenesin ER + 180mcg Albuterol (inhaler) - This is a bronchodilator and expectorant combo. This will help you breathe better, which translates to less fatigue and better performance.

sweet deal, i believe i’ve heard of them before if im not mistaken

as of right now i’m planning on full marathons with the end goal being the Nor Ex Tri. I won’t do the NETri for at least 2 years to fully prep for it.

Thank you for taking the time to type this. It is very informative. Looks like I will need to source hunt because i’ve never seen Bromantane or Bemitil. everything else is standard and easy to find.

That's awesome! My $.02 would be to stay away from anything that is known or reported to give a pump or increase pumps; the longer the event, the more detrimental it is going to be. With the longer stuff, especially when supporting or carrying your own bodyweight like in running or cycling (more so swimming, rowing, etc.), strength to weight or power to weight ratio are much more important than the top end strength / power; more will not always mean better when it comes to more traditional PEDs (AAS).

You have to have something to enhance first of all. If you haven't trained up in your endurance sport yet and hit a plateau and competed with others to drive to towards better performance then you really are barking up the wrong tree. Temporary performance you find in a pill or shot lasts as long as the pill or shot. just like weight training, build a base.
