If you watch your lower back and make sure it’s not rounding up off the pad, yes. Highly recommend filming a set or two to see if your foot placement is causing that to happen or not, I’ve gotten some lower back pumps before from getting sloppy with form on hacksDo you find that movement to be easier on the lower back over leg press? Im getting tired of leg press but cant to squats.
Don’t be afraid to take your time finding your position. Hacks are a bit of a weird movement! I have more trouble with my knees feeling uncomfortable on hacks than I do any other squat movement, so you gotta find the placement that works best for youWill do! Thank you.
