I Wanna start TRT but im a little scared

You guys are getting too deep into the details at this point. The moment he answered the cookies for snacks and the hot pockets, chicken sometimes fried it was obvious he doesn’t know how much he’s eating and it’s WAY over 1600 calories and very high in fat. Dude is diabetic and obviously doesn’t care, regardless if the meds he was on worked or not how are you gonna just go about your life like the diabetes just doesn’t exist eating cookies and treats and all kinds of other shit. His interest is to optimize his hormones to be able to go train and look good, so obviously his head is focused on superficial stuff rather than his health. Like driving a car with a tranny that’s going out and haven’t changed the oil in 20k miles, but you put on new wheels… same thing here. At this point scolding the guy doesn’t help. He knows what he needs to do from the feedback and he better address his medical issues, a doctor will direct him to a nutritionist, so no point either in continuing to ask a bunch of meatheads what he should eat. Pretty simple. This thread is in a loop of the same info going around over and over.

I just hear alot of DIFFERENT opinion on what is best for "Clean eating" if someone can break it down for me ill start that TOMORROW straight up!!

Sometimes people need to hear the same thing from multiple people to believe it. I think he wants to change, he just doesn't know how. All the bullshit people say about gear would lead many to believe they just need to pop a few pills pin a few grams or gear and they will be stage ready in a month or so. Hell if you look at some of the ads gear pushers have on some social media platforms, they have pics of a fat slob in the before pic and a fit dude in the next with a label of ' in just 8 weeks you too can be the person you want to be'. If enough people here beat it into his head it might stick, if not at lease a rep might make a couple sales...

Curious. What is making you want this change now, be honest with yourself. Has your doc referred you to a dietitian before?

I agree, I just think he needs to go to the doctor and it’ll all start getting figured out from there. The guy has an untreated medical condition that needs attention. Doctor will not only get that squared away he will also get his nutrition lined out either by directing him to a nutritionist or giving him a clear dos and don’t list of what he can eat. Then monitor him. That’s the main issue here, not telling him to eat chicken rice and broccoli 6 times a day.

As far as drinks ALL I drink is water literally, nothing else, no energy drinks etc.

As far as diet what are some of the best foods to look at? as far as Test my levels are 434
Ill cut to the chase here. Based on everything I've read up to this post you have no business doing any kind of cycle or TRT. I recommend hiring a coach that is going to get you in shape with good diet and exercise plan. Anabolic Steroids are simply fuel to the fire if you have both diet and workout dialed in and if you don't you are just wasting time.

Good luck brother.

Tired of living this way, I dont feel well, I'm just so depleted hard to get through the work day let alone anything else! no Doc never did maybe she will this Friday when I have my appointment

Diabetic and yesterday your first meal was at 4pm and was a chocolate bunny yet you are willing to start a new diet tomorrow if someone explains clean eating? Sorry, I’m out. I wish you the best but this is ridiculous.

That what I asked him the question; why now? Nothing will change until he dislikes where he's at more than he dislikes what he needs to do to move on from that place. perhaps he's at that point and just doesn't know how to go about it.

I appreciate what you are saying but in my opinion it’s not that he doesn’t know how to go about it. He’s diabetic and waiting till 4pm to eat and when he does it’s a chocolate bunny. Then fried fish. 🤦‍♂️ He doesn’t need a dietitian, he needs common sense.

ok sooooooooooo the theory is

"Don't give em the meal advice that he needs cuz I don't believe he will use it" ???????? Clearly if someone came here made this post etc, they are trying to change not here to waste my time or anyone elses here

Thats exactly what it is

Sometimes it takes an amputation of a foot for people to get the idea that they need to change

I mean clearly I KNOW not to eat anything sweet / sugars, Pasta and breads turn to sugar, rice etc.... I dont know what TO eat tho is my issue

You are unlikely to get someone to specify a whole meal plan for you. They don’t know what your likes are, if you have the ability to eat the same thing day in and day out, meal prep items you have etc. It is going to take some research on your part. Search the nutrition section on here or google it.

Or, for less than 20 per month you can get a diet coach app. I recommend the RP diet coach. It tells you exactly what to eat and how much of it. The other option is an actual coach. If you can swing it, that way is obviously preferred.

meds will help but you gotta fix the diet man.

you dont want to be one of those diabetics on meds that gets his foot cut off.

Start by not eating packaged, processed foods. Cook/make everything your self. Plenty of lean protein minimum 1gr/pound body weight, veggies and a little fruit. With just enough cards to supply the calories needed whether gaining or loosing. There is the meal advice i have used for myself for almost 40 years. Works for me.
