Joined the strongman gym, this evening's workout was quads, arms, delts

Machine Pendulum Squat
BW deep lunges
Cable tricep pushdowns
DB lateral raises
DB curls

DC style stretching after all sets
 
Chest:
  • 7 sets of dumbbell press
  • 7 sets of narrow grip dumbbell press with both hands holding one dumbbell
  • 4 sets of dumbbell flies
  • 4 sets of dumbbell pullovers
 
Just got back from training legs. Cut the number of exercises from four to three because I felt dehydrated.

Hack Squats 6-8 reps 90 lbs, 180 lbs, 270 lbs, 310 lbs
Stiff Legged Dumbbell Raises 6-8 reps 60's, 70's 80,s 90's
Standing Calf Raises 8 - 10 reps Just ran the stack a quarter way down to half.
 
This evening's workout was triceps, shoulders, and chest

Cable tricep pushdowns
DB lateral raises
Log Press
DB incline chest Press
Single DB OH Tricep ext
DB incline pec flyes
Trap Bar Shrugs

DC style stretching after all sets
 
Legs and some light shoulders in between sets

No lift today, ran 1mile in 9min this morning with 15lbs in my pack. My hamstrings were pretty wrecked after that and from all the walking lately. Here's the weeks mile/step count.

This evening's workout started with a good yoga and mobility session, then arms, back, shoulders

Cable tricep pushdowns
Chin Ups
DB lateral raises
DB OH Press
DB curls
Single DB OH Tricep ext

DC style stretching after final sets.
 
Back and tris. One of these days I’ll actually sit down and figure out a decent 6 day split .

Heavy Chest and Back Width is a rough combo for a session!
It's not a lot of volume. Chest is only 5 sets. Heavy probably isn't what most people would think.

I also think if we're on gear with training and nutrition up to snuff then we can recover from a lot more than most people realize.

Cable fly 3x12-15

Single arm pulldown 3x15-20
Hammer iso high row 3x10-12
Dante row 3drop sets
 
Shoulders arms

Planned on a regular chest day. Then the college girls started showing up. So I got stronger . Not bad for 41. Bench then incline. Should be sore tomorrow

Today was high volume keg day. Tomorrow will be a push day, so Chest, Triceps, and shoulders.

Pics show Hammerstrength chest press twice, but I’m actually doing one that’s sitting up and the other is laying flat. Gym just got these newer Hammerstrength machines and loving them. Can’t wait to hit the gym tomorrow.
