Should cycles be based of mg/week or serum level?

Just wanted to gather some thoughts, everyone talks about what they take per week on a blast, but when it comes to TRT most say take what keeps you at the highest end of the natural range, and the dose for that can vary widely on the individual. For a starter cycle: If one takes 500mg/week of test and their total testosterone levels come back in the 2000s, but another individual gets results back in the 4000s (assuming same test supplier, quality, ester, pin schedule, and blood work timing) should the first person increase their dose to try to match the numbers of the other guy, or vice versa should the other one lower their dose? Should we chase numbers in serum when planning our cycles instead of the dose?

I don't think serum numbers matter at all. It's a good gauge to get a rough idea of what's happening but people respond differently. One guy might get low T symptom relief at 700 ng/dl. Another might need to run at 1100 to get the same result. On blast dose should be response dependant. Minimum effective dose for desired results. If I'm growing I don't care if it says 2K or 10K. Response dictates dose titration.

Actually, most don't say this. As others have stated, TRT dose is guaged off of how you feel. Some feel great at 500, awesome at 800, and like trash at 1100. The numeric level just shows you where you are on the map so you can adjust accordingly.

Again, numbers are just a map dot position. Its where you are at. If youre traveling at a good speed where you are, then you wouldnt change. If your destination is a number, then you would. Most dont chase the number specifically but just use it as a reference.
