My daughter is releasing her music... She's 18. Her voice coach is Samantha Cole (shaggy aka early 2000). And I'm trying to set her up w an artist called Lana Del Rey.

She's just starting out but the more hits she gets, that's how she get paid.

Can u guys please listen to her song?

Yeah - the music industry is gross. Had a buddy that used to work in it, for Beyonce's dad. Said they would find girls better than Beyonce (or whatever other singer they had at the label), get them to sign a multi-record contract knowing damn well they will never produce a single record with her. But she would be under contract with them and not able to produce music with anyone else. Killing careers and competition.

Be real careful.

Hell no, I have an awful voice

I have sang to her since she was a baby. So she, like me loves music.

But we've had her with a pro voice coach for 6 years. She placed 2nd and 3rd at the apollo and Americas got talent.
She is paid regularly to sing at baseball games, boxing matches, etc.

She is going places for sure. Her voice is beautiful. My voice is terrible. Except putting my kids to sleep

Jesus Loves me and Pochahonatas works like a charm

Also her voice coach is Samantha Cole. Remember the old school Shaggy songs? well that is her in all those songs singing with him.
I have dinner with them and go to events all the time and honestly the videos don't do her justice. She is absolute fire in real life.

So I am very pleased, my daughter has some legit connections already.

But like someone said, there are snakes all over. One guy in his 60s didn't realize I was the father. So he was inviting my daughter to come record at his studio by herself. I said to him ,"that is not happening" and he said "who are you?" I said I am her father, who the hell are you?

LMAO, he absolutely backed away from me. Scared. No reason to fear another man unless you have bad intentions? Know what I mean?
