I pinned thurs. out a new bottle. I won't say the source but I have a knot in my quad, the area is hot and even laying down its miserable pain. The pain actually runs into my hip. Needless to say I'm gonna throw away the bottle. Feels like an open knife wound. Had 4 bottles and 6 weeks into my cycle with no problems. So I'm guessing it was just one that got away. Sucks

OP - was it possible something didn't get prepped with alcohol bro? Definately sounds like bacteria just wondering since its first time.

I could be this, but as Dath said, it could also be a mistake during injection. Just so I understand you, you have been injecting the same type of gear from this same source for 4 weeks, you opened a new bottle, and the first injection from the new bottle did this?
 
GSRaser yeah. This is my 5th week. Running tren and test e. opened a new bottle of test and it hit me. Don't wanna name source cause the tren and first bottle of test was g2g. I'm making massive gains just think it was a mess up. Opening another bottle of test from same source today. If this bottle is bad I'll post. I do think the source is good though.
 
And Dath, I'm a freak when it comes to this stuff. Running on and off for a few years now. I hit everything with alcohol.
 
If it's the same batch as the other bottles, It most likely isn't the bottle that had the bacteria. But then again, I don't know the circumstances. How sterile are you when you inject? Do you swab the vial? Your injection spot? Etc.
 
On my first injection I completely forgot to swab anything and who knows what filth I dragged into my muscle, but had no consequences. Just luck or good immune system perhaps. The theory I've read about this procedure is that the alcohol kills *most* of the stuff on your skin via drying but not all, so you will be taking at least some small quantity of foreign bacteria/fungi/whatever into your internal tissues but your immune system should handle it. In other words we never achieve 100% sterility but something short of it. I guess I'm skeptical that a little skin bacteria could cause such a hard and fast infection for the OP, if that's what it is.

Maybe cook the offending bottle in simmering water for 30 minutes, if you still have it? Or maybe just avoid it. :)
 
Yeah I swab the rubber stopper and the quad. I'm pinning twice a week mon. Thurs. for 5 weeks with no pain. New bottle, 5
 
500mg into quad and next day all hell broke loose. I was gonna throw it away but my buddie at the gym wants it. He's gonna pin a half a C to see if it's bad. He don't have a ton of cash. I warned him and said good luck. Missed the Monday shot, I'll crack a new bottle and pin today.
