After getting back into lifting again this year at the age of 50, I’m finding that my muscle pump is just not really there. Not sure why. Lifting heavy with plenty of volume. I’m can work a muscle group that day to complete failure but that huge pump I used to get is just not really there. I miss it.
Anything I can use to help? Preferably caffeine free since i workout in the early evenings after work.

I should add that im currently on a very low carb diet

the low carb diet might be the reason. lack of sodium too.
try adding a bit of carbs + salt and check the pump.
also, are you using anything?

I’m currently on my trt dose. A blast is about to begin in November though so I’m just trying to get some small details dealt with that were kinda bothering me at the moment

then your T levels are no problem.
check your carb and sodium intake.
and yes, cialis can help a lot too

I while back I was taking irwin naturals supplements that had tribulus in it and also used the steel libido red pills just to try em, I stopped using the tribulus supplement gave me upset stomach, I also think they don't use it anymore in their products but I noticed when I was taking the steel libido red pills once in a while I was getting some unusual pumps from it and that was just after taking 1 of the 4 pills you can take per day. Now I get my pumps from creatine , and a Ryse loaded pre workout bazooka flavor and mix it with their bcaa koolaid and its bomb. hella killer pumps and over 500mg of caffeine

I've seen there are supplements focused on providing bigger pumps. they even have the "pump" in their names. although I never tried them

If you want a pump supplement then I’d go EVP 3D..fire and caffeine free. Huge pump! 1-2 scoops you can use!

Most likely diet as already said. For products I carry two pump products that work well. Cialis for sure as mentioned.

Pump is a 100% a combination of 2 things. Hydration and glycogen in your muscles. 1 ensure hydration is 100% throughout. As far as being on a very low carb diet, eat your carbs around your training window. Preworkout eat carbs. Post work out carbs. Depending on how many carbs you’re allowing yourself to consume, you could benefit from intra workout carbs in a drink you sip on throughout your workout such as Karbolyn or whatever you prefer and no post workout carbs. The glycogen depletion in your muscles is probably the culprit of the lack of pump, not sure what diet you follow, but carb cycling would help you adding a high day or 2 where you eat a very high amount of carbs to replenish glycogen stores, also boosting metabolism and aiding in fat loss. Then continue on the lower carb days the rest of the week with carbs around training only, then you refill again on next weeks high carb day.

I’ve been on carnivore. I’ve lost almost 50 pounds this year doing it. Just eat meat, eggs, and cheese. Easy to do, no macro tracking because that stuff burns me out.
I’ve had a cheat meal here and there but it knocks me out of ketosis and I end up feeling kinda shitty the next day.

Low carbs. 🤷

Hydrate.
Use beetroot powder for nitrogen.
An old school trick is a level teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 gallon of water pwo.
If you want to go the drug route, 5mg of quality cialis in the am def increases pump!
