Iran said they will never give up the uranium, so that pretty much means the ceasefire is over. I think they have an idea where the uranium is, will they send ground troops in to take it, or bomb the suspected area more and include some infrastructure to cripple the country economically so they wont recover?

It is quite complex and not possible to eliminate discussion of religion in the discussion. I will try in bullet points.

1. Israel wants Greater Israel to control global oil and natural gas and major routes for key products. It wants vessel states with bought off kingdoms like they have in the Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

2. Iran has been in and out of control by the West for over 100 years most famously under Mosaddegh when in the 1950s refused to renew oil contracts with Western companies so the West ran a coup and installed Shah Pahlavi who sold out for 20%. Eventually he wanted a bigger cut so the West arranged a coup, which was disrupted by the Ayatollah.

3. Early 2000s, Iran saw what happened in Iraq and decided to prepare. They hardened and literally went under ground with weapons systems.

4. Iran set up a decentralized government of something like 40 entities that can operate independently, effectively making them impervious to decapitation, something that US and Allied Forces were able to do in Iraq.

5. Strait of Hormuz is a key route of major energy, fertilizer and other key goods, 25-30% of those goods world wide. This makes the conflict existential for the entire human population since not only Hormuz but other major routes are under threat. Israel will evoke the Sampson Option if defeat is imminent, nuclear destruction. Iran will completely destroy petroleum collection and processing capacity in the gulf if imminent defeat is clear, world starvation and massive energy deficits in most global regions.

Sometimes these events create opportunities and necessary changes.

I think parts of the world are finding other ways to obtain the oil they need without including Iran and the strait the control.

When you eliminate or greatly reduce Irans position in the world, their money (power) dries up. And they become a non factor.

Just a pimple on the ass of society.

Personally I don’t think Iran should ever possess nuclear weapons. And we should prevent them however necessary.

We have tried diplomacy for decades and they have just found ways to try and hide it by going underground or in mountains.

IMO paying a few more dollars for gas is worth it.

I just heard the news say this memorial weekend is a record planned for traveling. And gas is a dollar more than last year. Ppl will still do what they want. And find the money.

As far as cease fire? We are so far apart. It needs to be more of an unconditional surrender they sign.

Doesn't benefit the United States any way. Not interested in the nuclear weapons argument. Iran must be the most inept country on the planet. They've been " on the cusp" for 3 decades. Not to mention we allegedly destroyed all their nuclear capacity last year? Bunch of nonsense and bs. Israel has nukes but gets to pretend that they don't. The only reason we are stopping iran from having nukes is because that wouldn't be beneficial to Israel. It would level the playing field..I could care less if Israel thinks they're entitled to all land in the middle east. They want it, go take it. Have to wonder how many wars costing millions of lives have been averted due to nukes. Keeping countries at “peace” so to speak.

I’ve only ever noticed most conflict is with countries that have no nukes. We don’t mind bombing or flying over air space of countries that can’t do shit.

But we don’t do missle strikes in China , North Korea, Russia, etc.

Would Russia have went into Ukraine if they had nukes?? Probably not.

Maybe I’m wrong and you can name two countries in conflict that both have nukes?

experts can trace nuclear material back to its exact origin. Through nuclear forensics, scientists analyze isotopic signatures, impurities, and the chemical/physical form of the material.

Brother, it was the US that gave them plutonium.

Odumba in his last 2 weeks in office sold Iran Plutonium to start nuclear reactors for energy.
