Hughmangoes transformation log

Just remember the ground meat lean/fat ratios are usually eyeballed, not under macro scrutiny. With chicken it's not a big deal as it's lean regardless, but beef at 90/10 or 93/7 can be much higher in fat than they show on the label.

Seen many times when someone is counting macros meticulously eating ground beef, then switch to another source and they drop weight. Not a big deal in a surplus, but if you are in a deep cut with low fat targets, something to look out for.
I gotta say I really had no clue how much fat was in beef products until I started watching macros... fuckin Wagu is insanely fatty... I know it's by design but damn!!!

Tried Wagu once
Not really sure what all the hype was about.
Personally i thought it was horrible..

I watched this Asian dude order some at a restaurant we were in on vacation, and I guess they apparently cook it black-and-blue with a blow torch at the table... which to me is nasty as fuck.

Yeah feel when ya have to dress up a meal with a perfirmance .
Food has to be bad!!!
They hit ya with the Ole bannanna in the tailpipe misdirection...lol

I'm not sure. They dont seem rubbery but I also don't care lol. I just scored some 99 1 turkey as well, never seen it before!

Usually 90 10

@Halfi haha I microwave my eggwhites everyday lmao
sick yassir lester GIF by makinghistory

Your a sick man my friend lol

I use butterball ground turkey 93/7 cooked ground up mixed with Brussel sprouts, enough fresh garlic to kill a gambino boss lol
And drizzle some sirachi...
Its my go to!!
I like the 93/7 it’s got great flavor but to much fat for me. Same with ground chicken. I love the flavor but it’s to fatty

I’ve found salsa on plain chicken to be a nice little treat to give it some more added flavor. There are also some sauces u can use that have good macros . I think it’s GH Hughes or something. Coach uses them. I personally have not.
Lol everyone here is trying to save me from my chicken 😂 I wasn't really complaining about boring food. Sometimes I just prefer to prepare tons of simple food and not think about it for a few days.

Upper A today with 40 mins incline treadmill.

Slept well but was super tired and sluggish whole day until I hit the gym. Sometimes I forget that the worst thing you can do when feeling sluggish is to just lounge around all day. Moving around really helps. I never felt worse after hitting the gym or doing some activity, but sometimes I forget that.

Workout itself was good. Pec deck felt good and shoulder didn't complain much. Really felt that outer chest work, though idk if that's the intention of a pec deck

Rest day with 40 mins incline treadmill.

Been sleeping a bit more past few days but super exhausted the next day. Still got my steps in and cardio done though. Weight has also stalled for a bit. I think there is some connection between stalled weight and feeling sluggish, then I drop few lbs overnight and immediately feel better, not sure though

Kinda mad at people who start losing weight and are immediately so much more active and energetic. I'm down over 100 lbs and still waiting for that.

Also made some chicken parm. Simple 30 min youtube recipe took over 3 hours between prep and cleanup. Tastes pretty good though. Stealth health life chicken parm on youtube.

Snapped a pic in the dirty gym bathroom mirror to make myself feel better.

Keep on keeping on man!
Huge change thus far!
Ur putting in the work my man..
That shit isnt easy via discipline and hard work.
Thanks man, appreciate it.

I've undone the damage I did to my body over six years in about 7 months. When you put things in perspective it really isn't that hard. Just a bit annoying in the moment lol

Drank an energy drink but couldn't get my ass to the gym. Followed up with a half a cup of coffee and got myself moving.

My hips and sciatica were acting up past couple of days. Did the myrtl routine I saw somewhere online before the workout. Not sure if It did anything or the workout itself helped, but feeling better.

Held pendulums for a sec at the bottom on almost every single rep. By the end I felt a bit lightheaded. Idk if it's because of pendulums or because some chick in underwear was doing sldls few feet away from my face.

Overall a good leg workout as always.

its easy to confuse getting your breath taken away via pendulums or the var bunnies at the gym.
i can see how you could confuse the two!

Rest day with 40 mins incline treadmill.

Weight finally budged after almost two week stall and immediately better mood. It's like the body is fighting to hold on to the weight and then just says fuck it and relaxes for a bit.

Upper B today. Skipped and moved cardio to tomorrow.

Feeling strong and comfortable increasing weights in some compound movements. Not sure if it's true progress or I'm just getting more comfortable with the movements, regardless it's a good sign.

Check ins done. Weekly avg loss of 1.5lbs. NTD carbs going to 120 😢 No other changes

Lower B and 40 mins incline today.

Barbell was busy so I decided to do sldls on the belt squat machine. Also decided to ditch super squats and try belt squats while on the same platform. Belt squats were kinda less intensive and didn't gas me out as much as super squats, but I'm not quite sure if they are better. Maybe will buy a better belt and chain to give them another shot. Whatever we have in the gym digs too much into my hips.

Also my quads hurt too much on the seated curl, maybe from previous leg day? Never happened to me before, had to jump on laying curls. Seated curls definitely feel better though.

I’m not big on posting photos of myself or anything, but on the left I was 365lbs, hovering around 235lbs right now.

@Meetketchup has been a pivotal part of this transition. I wish you the best man look forward to your progress.

Great results! How far down do you plan to cut or are you done with it?
