How's your moms dads hairline?I’m thinking genetic mom has no issues and dad just started thinning in 50s. 2 years ago my hair was very thick. Idk if it’s thyroid med related are what.
id avoid dut and fin theres a chance it goes wrong and stays wrong for a long time. minox is by far the safest. probably the most effective for most people. 50/50 that or ru58841 based on the individual but ru's been shown to have side harsher side effects in more peopleYea I seen a bodybuilder on YouTube recommend that and dutasteride
nah im allergic to a lot of random chemicals so i mainly use tar shampoo here and thereOkay I’ll pick up some minox and use before bed. U used any certain shampoo with? Mines not thinning super super bad but noticeable from 2 years ago
Cdubw44 these help you?
Yes cause I run mast like it’s going out of style my hair started thinning. I do have good hair genetics though as my mom’s dad had a full head of hair when he died. Amazingly my sports clips lady gave me this stuff to use and had a little regrowth in the back of my head and put a stop to the receding front. But not a doctor or hair stylist.Cdubw44 these help you?
He doesn't want to hear that. Just wants cheap quick fix. It’s genetic. The shampoos won’t do anything. Save your money for some nice ball caps or a hair transplant if you don’t want to be bald. It’s coming.
Hopefully it works, but from experience I went years cycling gear with no real thinning or hair loss, then in the matter of a cycle I went from full head of thick hair where I used to have my barber thin it out, to major shedding where you can see my scalp and hairline receding substantially. It all really comes down to genetics, my dad at 61 still has hair, but mine looks just like his now, but hey if it works more po
Based on the current literature as of the moment, the most clinically tested ones are minoxidil (though u have to use it forever and if used topically then use it with a tretinoin combine to activate the enzyme making the minoxidil works since most of the people lacks the gene of activating that enzyme. If your planning on using oral minoxidil then go for low-normal dose never do high dosage so u avoid the risk of heart attack.), Pumpkin seed oil is also becoming popular now in the recent clinical trials. Finasteride (basically the gold standard for ppl with androgenic related hair loss, IMO more better than dutasteride specially at low dose and maintaining hair for a constant use and more cost efficient than oral mino and dut, also massively helps to prevent hair follicle miniaturization which happens when your high in 5-alpha-reductase (DHT) and I'm currently low dosing it for over a year now and it gave me good results even if it's anecdotal). Ketoconazole shampoo is your go to shampoo and I also recommend at least washing your hair with keta 3x a week to prevent oily scalp (breeding ground for hair follicle miniaturization which slows down hair growth). Lastly is probably biotin rich foods or normal dosing a biotin supplement, not necessary though.Anyone got a good supplement protocol for hair growth for thinning?
