this series is part of my compound breakdown series where i will cover compounds in an easy to understand manner. if you have any compounds you would like to see broken down for an easy to understand explanation format, drop them down below. this series is inspired by the folks at @Alpha Sigma Labs and their great work. i would check out their sub forum to find a great community and a great group of wolves in the pack!

What is Halotestin?

Halo is a 17-alpha alkylated oral steroid. Halo is seen as one of the more intense orals. Halo binds to the AR (androgen receptors) in muscle cells. by doing this, halo would promote increased protein synthesis in the body. for a quick fun fact, it is rumored that iron mike tyson would take halo before fights. this compound has seen much use in combat sports like MMA and boxing.

What results does Halotestin produce?

Halo is an extremely potent oral steroid. it can be commonly found in 10mg caps or tablets. most individuals will use halo in amounts of 10, 20, 30, or even 40mg a day. it can be expected that an individual will receive better results by increasing the dosage; however, the side effects will also become much higher and more noticeable as the dose is tapered up. halo is unable to aromatize in the body, so it is known as a dry compound. this means it would have minimal water retention. it is reported that halo has an anabolic to androgenic ratio of 1950-800. although in practical application of the compound, this doesn’t mean a whole lot. however, it is still noteworthy that has a very high ratio. halo can be expected to produce very nice dry gains for users. it is also reported that strength increases are absolutely phenomenal. it’s hard to put an estimate range for how much muscle or mass someone can put on with a compound. we are all highly unique individuals who respond to compounds very differently. the numbers would vary greatly from person to person.

What is the half life of Halotestin?

the half-life of halo is reported to be right around 9 hours. as with halo being an oral, it is typically not ran in very long durations. most halo cycles will only last a few weeks. i could imagine this compound being ran anywhere from 2-3 weeks all the way up to 8-10 weeks.

What are the side effects of Halotestin?

halo, like any AAS compound, will come with some pretty sizable drawbacks. in this world of body building, power lifting, strongman, etc nothing comes without a price. as can be expected with any compound, there are two categories of side effects, mental & physical. halo use could increas anger, anxiety, depression, irritability, mood instability, acne, decreased testosterone production, infertility, liver damage, bodily injury, development of male secondary sex characteristics, and a whole host of other possible side effects. something to note about side effects, they will increase as the dosage of any compound increases. theoretically, someone could take 20mg a day and feel great without any noticeable sides. another person could take 20mg a day and be in the hospital. the biggest con by far with halo is liver damage. orals must be able to survive two passes through the liver, so it will be very hard on this organ. someone who uses halo could expect to see a significant increase in liver health markers trending in very negative directions. this is a genetics & response game that people play with this compound.

What is my opinion on Halotestin?

I think halo could possibly make sense in some certain contexts. i think halo could be best used in a sport like MMA, boxing, martial arts of all kinds, strongman, etc. one of the most interesting parts about halo is crazy strength gains while putting on minimal water. for example when fighters step into the ring, weight classes matter. if someone wants to get stronger, they would normally have to put on some size and move up weight classes. halo could possibly provide an advantage to athletes that need to compete in a specific weight class or want to stay lean with minimal water gain. i think in body building halo doesn’t make much sense. i think there are better options that individuals could possibly pick.

none of this is medical advice or advice anyone should act on. i’m not a doctor, and i never will be a doctor. i just have a simple interest in studying compounds. @Vision @Matt88 @Onidus @Bando let me know how i did guys! again, if anyone wants to see any compounds in this series, drop them down below!

I have never personally tried Halo but I might throw it in the last few weeks of a cycle in the future. Thanks for the info.

I think it would be a great idea to have a comprehensive breakdown of AI’s. The pros and cons. Seems to be a lot of folks blindly using these compounds that don’t understand the negative factors that can come from their use. Not saying they aren’t needed, just seems to be a lot of confusion and a jump to use them when your nipples itch a bit…. Maybe there is already a thread on this but I haven’t noticed it as I hardly use them and only do when it is absolutely needed by bloodwork. And maybe make it a sticky thread somewhere…

Good job on the above breakdown!

this is an amazing idea that i actually want to do now. thank you so much for the idea and kind words, my friend!

Its not too late too late to get a free sample. Email us an address and we will start sending them our as soon as our HPLC reports get in. They were supposed to be back two weeks ago. It is our of our hands

It is just something that I see over and over and this is not necessarily for the seasoned folks but I’m sure it would benefit some of us also. Definitely the newer folks. It seems most plan out a cycle and think they need to include it from week 1 not realizing that they won’t be fully saturated for 4-6 weeks and then let’s say they drop one compound and bring something like anavar in and then continue the same dose🤦‍♂️

Levels are going to fluctuate during the duration of the cycle and depending on the compounds being utilized at the time. At a minimum in my opinion bloods should be done 3 times a cycle, before start, 6-7 weeks in and at completion. I could keep on but I’ll let you do your thing!😂

Exenzero. Anything I can do to have you post this series in our sub forum? I can make it a sticky post at the top of the page. It would be good to have a top of the page reference for members doing research can easily find.

Halo is my favorite of all time. It’s misunderstood and mis-used often. If you are prepping for a show with couple of weeks left and you are already at 4 to 5 % body fat, Halo in two weeks will make you look like a statue.
Respect the drug, run it for a very short time. Protect your liver with proper supplements before, during and after the cycle and you will not suffer from any sides.

I’ve been taking halo for show protocol for the past couple of decades and my liver, kidney functions are spot on.

Don’t abuse it and incorporate the gear for the right reason.

FYI I would never run it if I didn’t compete.

Well said brother

Nice rundown...I have never ran halo,it is a very interesting compound, but like wiseguy and others say wouldn't run it unless competing, I agree with this for alot of reasons..risk/reward..strength gains can come with alot of compounds, which can be good & bad for many.i don't compete.."yet" .anyways nice write up.

This is so true, this is one of those compounds that are truly misunderstood and it's underrated.
But we see way too often were guys are trying to chase this added aggression for whatever reason, and they use it as a pre-workout. It can serve as that purpose, but the reality is it's really entirely unnecessary.
For the same exact instance in situation that you outlined, in the closing days or weeks up until a show as the last ditch effort that is where this compound will shine the most.

Unless someone is competing, or even on a combative stage, it's one of those things that are unnecessary.

If guys want to use it as a pre-workout, it needs to be limited, and respected.
I'm not an ego lifter and never have been, therefore it could be a recipe for disaster.

Last but not least) people don't necessarily have to feel it, in order to know if it's working. Way too often people take compounds right up until the point where they feel the side effects, and that's where they believe it's beginning to work.
We don't need to display a whole spreadsheet of side effects in order to know if something's working for us or not.
An example would be that's like taking clen or T3/T4, if guys aren't shaking they think it's not working, so they crank things up until it's slightly uncomfortable, and that's what they believe it's going to do its best. :(

I remember studying halo for a couple years before ever trying it. There seemed to be a small percentage of guys that loved it but most said they’d never use it again. So I tried it and fell in love. Even at 10% BF.

it doesn’t make me aggressive. Just really comfortable and confident. Combined with masteron and tren and being fairly lean, halo can straight up make you look like a granite statue. Hard, sinewy and dry as hell.

I like to run it at 20-25mg daily for almost 3 weeks at the end of a good cutting run. Halo is some good stuff.

I emailed you already I’m looking forward to trying it out.

Nice break down fam. I like the effort u put into this. Good to see more solid dudes bringing more quality to the board. Stenbolone would be a nice addition. Sten is a compound I plan to run but havnt got to it yet.

Spot on Vision. Example of Clen is perfect. Guys do push until they are shaking like crazy at 140mcg and they say oh habits working. I can get the same results from 60mcg without destroying my heart.

Long story short every compound has a place in what your are trying to accomplish. Can’t just take things because they are the strongest, mildest, safest or whatever. What is your goal and is what you are taking the right compound or combo to take you there.

That's so true, and especially when you emphasize that people take things because they're strong.
People often misinterpret what strong equates to, strong does not necessarily mean most effective.
People are often destroying health markers, and putting their general health in harm's way all for the sake just so they can feel something as a confirmation and reassurance.

This lifestyle is about patience , consistency and time, with that said give the compounds exactly that - time - and time will tell, not "feels"..

Well put..I know I can't be the only one to say I have gotten hurt with compounds that increase strength..this March I believe I spent 6 weeks recovering a bad tear or pull in my right bicep.tren & tbol..it really sux when u have to scale back or not train something. Slow and steady 😃

Orals and back pumps have wrecked me, many times over, mainly because I was chasing the desired effects from the drug, being narrowminded about lurking dangers elsewhere.
I try to look at things anymore in the beginning as "could the set me back, and if so - how and where"? I've about had it with set backs and inconveniences. :banghead:

First time I tried halo I was about 265lb drinking too much and already had high liver markers...new and ignorant. But at 20mgs a day pre workout nothing made me feel as assertive...not aggressive, and with such a strong sense of well being, almost euphoric. Tried it again later from same source and nothing, but they went down soon after so it was probably bunk. Everyone responds so differently to compounds, nothing made me feel like that. Looking forward to trying it again now at 225lb. Thank goodness I at least had the sense to take some Udca while I was running it, had blood work done after 4 weeks and was the first time my liver values came back within range

Clen imo is a horrible compound and so unneeded. I never recommend anyone run it to drop weight. I always recommend stricter diet and upping the cardio.

You’re the only other person I’ve seen mention the positive mental aspects from halo. I was starting to think I was the only one. I was expecting a short fuse and maybe some aggression. What I get is a calm confidence and positive outlook.

I also can attest to it not being the same feeling or as intense each time with halo. I’ve probably used it 6-7 times and probably 4 have come with the awesome feels. The other 2-3 times were just kinda not noticeable really. I imagine our current body chemistry plays a role in how we react to it.

I think the anger comes form being so depleted that your skin hurts going into competition. I think if you are close to ready and dont make such a drastic cut, Halo is super helpful. If you are already agitated and irritable it pushes you over the edge with aggression.

Just received my free halo sample. (Much appreciated!) what’s a good dosage PWO for testing purposes?

I have never tried Halo but did send an email for a sample a week ago?

I’ve used Dbol, var, Provi, and primo Ace. Would like to try some A bombs someday to.
