The second reading Sunday choked me up a little. It reminded me that the creator has given me what I need to become stronger. It was the 14 Sunday in ordinary time.

Reading 2

2 Cor 12:7-10

Brothers and sisters:
That I, Paul, might not become too elated,
because of the abundance of the revelations,
a thorn in the flesh was given to me, an angel of Satan,
to beat me, to keep me from being too elated.
Three times I begged the Lord about this, that it might leave me,
but he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you,
for power is made perfect in weakness.”
I will rather boast most gladly of my weaknesses,
in order that the power of Christ may dwell with me.
Therefore, I am content with weaknesses, insults,
hardships, persecutions, and constraints,
for the sake of Christ;
for when I am weak, then I am strong.

Many Christians have no idea what the Son of God's original name is. His name is Yeshua NOT Jesus. When the 1611 KJV was being translated they translated His name Jesus in English. Other translators copied the KJV. This happened because His Hebrew name was translated into Greek and then the Greek was translated into English. His name is Yeshua.

Is this Joshua in the English language

cool story... recently I was in chic-fila grabbing a fake chicken bacon club after my workout and the cashier spoke out "YASHUA HAMASCHIAK” ... he was reading my tattoo haha anyway to your point not many people know the Hebrew language or know that Jesus translated is Yashua Hamashiak.

Enjoy... YHWH

The name Yahweh comes from the Hebrew word for “I am.” When God met Moses at the burning bush and commanded him to go back to Egypt and lead the people out, Moses asked who he should say has sent him. “God said to Moses, ‘I am who I am.’ And he said, ‘Say this to the people of Israel: “I am has sent me to you.”’ God also said to Moses, ‘Say this to the people of Israel: “The LORD [YHWH], the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.” This is my name forever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations’” (Exodus 3:14–15).

Another one to workout to...

PSALM 100:1-5

Shout with joy before the Lord, O earth! 2 Obey him gladly; come before him, singing with joy.

3 Try to realize what this means—the Lord is God! He made us—we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

4 Go through his open gates with great thanksgiving; enter his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and bless his name. 5 For the Lord is always good. He is always loving and kind, and his faithfulness goes on and on to each succeeding generation.

This guy brings up Hebrew gematria but other than that this is an interesting short vid on the name of Yeshua.

God says in Jeremiah 1:5

Then the word of the Lord came to me [Jeremiah], saying,

5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations

Great passage but frequently taken out of context and misapplied to others.

The Armor of God

10 In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. 11 Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places. 13 Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious]. 14 So stand firm and hold your ground, having[a]tightened the wide band of truth (personal integrity, moral courage) around your waist and having put on the breastplate of righteousness (an upright heart), 15 and having [b]strapped on your feet the gospel of peace in preparation [to face the enemy with firm-footed stability and the readiness produced by the good news]. 16 Above all, lift up the [protective] [c]shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

18 With all prayer and petition pray [with specific requests] at all times [on every occasion and in every season] in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all [d]God’s people. 19 And pray for me, that words may be given to me when I open my mouth, to proclaim boldly the mystery of the good news [of salvation], 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. And pray that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly and courageously, as I should.

encouragement: The bible is spiritual and its words are inspired by The Holy Spirit so it is impossible to rightly discern the bible unless born again ...

He asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed [in Jesus as the Christ]?” And they said, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” 3 And he asked, “Into what then were you baptized?” They said, “Into John’s baptism.” 4 Paul said, “John performed a baptism of repentance, continually telling the people to believe in Him who was coming after him, that is, [to confidently accept and joyfully believe] in Jesus [the Messiah and Savior].” 5 After hearing this, they were baptized [again, this time] in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking in [unknown] tongues (languages) and prophesying.

Psalm 150:6

Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

John 17 is one of my favorite chapters to read because it shows the true heart of Yashua/Jesus towards those who believe in Him, as He prays for us to Yahweh/Abba Father

When Jesus had spoken these things, He lifted up His eyes to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son may glorify You. 2For You granted Him authority over all people,a so that He may give eternal life to all those You have given Him. 3Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent. 4I have glorified You on earth by accomplishing the work You gave Me to do. 5And now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence with the glory I had with You before the world existed.

Prayer for the Disciples

6I have revealed Your name to those You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours; You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. 7Now they know that everything You have given Me comes from You. 8For I have given them the words You gave Me, and they have received them. They knew with certainty that I came from You, and they believed that You sent Me.

9I ask on their behalf. I do not ask on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those You have given Me; for they are Yours. 10All I have is Yours, and all You have is Mine; and in them I have been glorified.11I will no longer be in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to You.

Holy Father, protect them by Your name, the name You gave Me,b so that they may be one as We are one. 12While I was with them, I protected and preserved them by Your name, the name You gave Me. Not one of them has been lost, except the son of destruction, so that the Scripture would be fulfilled.

13But now I am coming to You; and I am saying these things while I am in the world, so that they may have My joy fulfilled within them. 14I have given them Your word and the world has hated them; for they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

15I am not asking that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the evil one.c16They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth. 18As You sent Me into the world, I have also sent them into the world. 19For them I sanctify Myself, so that they too may be sanctified by the truth.

Prayer for All Believers

20I am not asking on behalf of them alone, but also on behalf of those who will believe in Me through their message, 21that all of them may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I am in You. May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.

22I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one— 23I in them and You in Me—that they may be perfectly united, so that the world may know that You sent Me and have loved them just as You have loved Me.

24Father, I want those You have given Me to be with Me where I am, that they may see the glory You gave Me because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

25Righteous Father, although the world has not known You, I know You, and they know that You sent Me. 26And I have made Your name known to them and will continue to make it known, so that the love You have for Me may be in them, and I in them.”

I hope these worship songs I‘ve been posting bless you guys. I want to encourage you, maybe you know this already but if you dont, the Lord is enthroned on our praises and He can break chains that bind us when we worship Him from our hearts in spirit, truth and obedience 👍

Made For More - Josh Baldwin, feat. Jenn Johnson

Jesus said ... But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own.

A word of encouragement

I kind of got into an arguement with an internet Bible scholar over this…. I may be wrong about what we were arguing but I think it’s this ;

Jesus died to refresh the old covenant and issue the new covenant at the same time.. I think he was implying we as Christian’s are lawless and do not achieve salvation through unconditional and unmerited grace. We must obey Gods law both old and new. So he was saying all that stuff in Leviticus 11-19 about not eating bacon and I think that includes making my wife sleep out in the shed during her hormonal stuff too (which I’m completely fine with) but… I like ham and bacon.

Is this guy high or does he have a point? I know the Ten Commandments still apply but the old covenant for us gentiles?
confessing a prayer and believing you're saved and calling it a day is in no way shape or form receiving eternal life aka knowing the Father thru Christ.

Recognizing you need Jesus causes repentance of your sin from your heart to Gods heart, whatever that looks like for you IDK, in my estimation no man can know what that is for another man.

I can tell you for me, it was a 100% a realization that every single decision I have ever made in my entire life was/is 100% self centered and everything I thought I have done good was like a filthy rag to Him who is Holy. God made this crystal clear to me. He doesn’t grade us on a curve, I/we aren’t capable of living up to His 613 levitical laws or even the 10 commandments He gave Moses. He sees sin black and white brother, I mean even the best things I did I immediately saw as He showed me thru His eyes were selfish ambition, full of concete and arrogance, there were shreds of selfish ambition in everything. Its condition of having a stony heart that everyone born has until or if they receive Jesus and follow Jesus and He replaces it with a heart of flesh.

It is by pure mercy and grace we are saved by grace thru faith, without love of Jesus flowing thru you, you cannot fulfill the 2 commandments Jesus tells us to keep which fulfill the law.

Pray and talk to God straight up bro, He isnt religious like churches make Him out to be, He is Holy, He is loving and He is forgiving because of His great mercies and great grace, thats precisely what draws us/man to Him by the Holy Spirits leading

One more thing, it pleased the Father to pour out His wrath on Jesus, He isnt punishing sin today, He poured it ALL out on Jesus, so there is no law to keep except love the Lord your God with everything you got, and love thy brother as yourself. Jesus said It is finished and He meant it, make no mistake sin has its own repercussions and we will reap what we sow. This is a small part of my testimony which I'm not accustomed to sharing it especially on here haha, but I hope it helps you know you're not alone, I would bet we most likely have been thru some of the same things, for sure we have shared in the guilt shame and condemnation that comes from sinning against the laws. peace bro

I was discussing things with a good friend the other day. I've seen new christians and old christians doubt their salvation or "worthiness". God created us. We are the last thing He created and we are THAT important to Him. Everything else was spoken into existence, but God took the time to make us by hand. We are quite literally His handiwork. We are His.

Jesus died for us. He suffered torture and death so that we could be assured a spot in heaven.

The Holy Spirit ministers to us daily...guidance, comfort, peace, everything.

^ This is how much God wants us with Him in heaven for eternity.

Romans 8
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Would you build an ark because it was commanded in the Bible? How about build an alter and sacrifice your son on it? The Bible commands circumcision so we need to do that too right? What about keeping the Sabbath?

I taught my son when he was just learning to read the Bible to always look at context first. Who is speaking? Who is being spoken to?

You are not Noah, you are not Abraham, You are not Israel. Why would you follow their directives if the directives were only for them?

Who are you according to the Bible?
Christians must live a Christian life . Try to be subservient yet lead others to a better life .

I do as I'm told. I do get visions I see lots of things and I am from the tribe of Dan. I am very religious. If God tells me he needs a sacrifice I do so by walking . If God tells me to change my ways I try to .

Maybe you're just not seeing the signs.

You must learn who you are first. Then you will see clearly.

Who does the Bible say you are once you believe?

Proverbs 16:9
The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.

Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Romans 1:1-2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

Let the love of Jesus overflow thru you today, just be thankful and let Him live thru you it’s not a legalistic mindset
its a gift:love:
Revelation 20:1-3
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Matthew 25:1-13

“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. 3The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take along any extra oil. 4But the wise ones took oil in flasks along with their lamps. 5When the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

6At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’

7Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’

9‘No,’ said the wise ones, ‘or there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

10But while they were on their way to buy it, the bridegroom arrived. Those who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet, and the door was shut.

11Later the other virgins arrived and said, ‘Lord, lord, open the door for us!’

12But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I do not know you.’

13Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.a

From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

The First Disciples
(Mark 1:16–20; Luke 5:1–11; John 1:35–42)

18As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. 19“Come, follow Me,”Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” 20And at once they left their nets and followed Him.

Seek the Lord while He may be found

Isaiah 55
“Come, all you who are thirsty,

come to the waters;

and you without money,

come, buy, and eat!

Come, buy wine and milk

without money and without cost!

2Why spend money on that which is not bread,

and your labor on that which does not satisfy?

Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good,

and your soul will delight in the richest of foods.

3Incline your ear and come to Me;

listen, so that your soul may live.

I will make with you an everlasting covenant—

My loving devotion promised to David.a

4Behold, I have made him a witness to the nations,

a leader and commander of the peoples.

5Surely you will summon a nation you do not know,

and nations who do not know you will run to you.

For the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel,

has bestowed glory on you.”

6Seek the LORD while He may be found;

call on Him while He is near.

7Let the wicked man forsake his own way

and the unrighteous man his own thoughts;

let him return to the LORD,

that He may have compassion,

and to our God,

for He will freely pardon.

8“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,

neither are your ways My ways,”

declares the LORD.
9“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

so My ways are higher than your ways

and My thoughts than your thoughts.

He's confusing the purification ritual of the Red Heifer with temple sacrifice. First of all, Hamas did not say they attacked due to the "red cow" until weeks or months after the Oct 7 attack. I don't recall the exact timeline but I was following a scholar who wrote the book on the Red Heifer at the time Hamas switched their story. He stated that once the backlash was so great against the atrocities that Hamas committed they then changed their story and said they did it because of the red cow. However its a moot point as the Red Heifer is not sacrificed in the temple. It will likely be slaughtered where Christ was crucified. So look for this purification ceremony to happen on the Mount of Olives. The ashes are mixed with water and then sprinkled on the priests and temple tools. Obviously there is no temple to purify at this time. Once the temple is built then I would agree we are getting closer to the Abomination of Desolatioon.

Anyway, seems like a good teacher so I did find his view interesting even though I disagree with his conclusion.

Check out this book if you want a deep dive into the Red Heifer purification ceremony.
