AR 15 setup.….What is your go to??

I’m not opposed to the idea, it’s just that if there’s a shooting in my house, I would rather everyone hear about it and have that sound signature act as a timestamp on everyones security cameras to when the shooting happened.
Fair. I'm an audio engineer by trade, I need to survive the incident and still be able to go back to work afterwards haha.

It's not like a suppressed 5.56 round is quiet or hearing safe, it's just ok for a few shots. Everyone is still going to her it. Now 300 BLK is different. Mine is hearing safe with subsonic rounds.

Yup exactly. Hearing safe isn't a hard line though, you'll be fine for a few shots, especially outdoors. It's repeated exposure that really messes you up. But yeah subsonic 300blk with a good can is just buttery, I love it.

The way my house is situated, depending on where I am in the house, my neighbors would not hear suppressed 5.56. There's a good amount of land and trees between me and my neighbors.

I've shot unsuppressed indoors before. It's not pleasant but it's also not that bad. It's not something I just do for the hell of it, so another one time occurrence won't cause any permanent damage.
