What is your go to on the AR 15 platform?

As for me, I don’t leave home without my HK carry firearm. My HK MR 556 A4 11.5 is mounted in my vehicle along with my plate carrier,medical supplies,etc.

Have built around 50 AR15s over the years for myself, family, & friends.
It's like Legos for adults.

My go to is one of my oldest- built with BCM and KAC parts, 11.5 inches, EOTech, Dead Air can.

It depends on the situation. The one that sits next to the bed is 16" 223 Wylde with a Holosun red dot.
My hunting rifle is a 20" 6MM ARC topped off with a Vortex Diamondback Tactical 4-16.
Im quite fond of the single stage triggers, ballistic advantage barrels, and everything had a Nickel Boron BCG.

Yep…I like the AR pistol setup with a SBA5 brace….you can cross state lines with this setup unlike an SBR.

Yah, I have a few pistol builds for that reason.
I have a number of SBRs and honestly wish I didn’t. Expensive and a pain in the ass with paperwork, trust, etc.
Also having to ask the govt for permission also grinds my gears.

BCM SBR with Omega Suppressor is my "bed Gun"by the night stand. Super light, has the original BCM Magnesium rail that you can't get any more. Super light, I have changed out a lot of items for V SEVEN Weapons systems titanium parts. I keep a spreadsheet of all the parts and their weight .

I specifically leave this one in pistol config, not SBR, and keep a suppressor mit nearby, in the off chance I should ever have to use it. The laws surrounding commission of a crime using NFA items are wild and if by chance you were found guilty of a crime (not likely defending yourself in your own home, especially in FL, but still...) you're looking at a much longer sentence as opposed to using a non-NFA build with no suppressor.

Highly depends on what the mission is. For all purposes under 100 yards, I have an Eotech or Romeo 8TAMR. I can throw a magnifier on it asap if needed. I also have an Eotech 3x9 with a red dot at 12 o clock. Lots of options to choose from. We could talk forever on this stuff.

Run a custom built 223 spikes upper and lower I had sitting around. 11.5 criterion core barrel, kac urx4, aimpoint t2, 3 position frt, adjustable buffer, cloud defense rein 3.0 moonshine edition(when I purchased their name wasn’t complete shit), flatline fiber co sling. Love this rig I put it thru hell and she still runs like a champ and hella accurate. Also a can on the end

Mine main AR is for clearing the house, so Red Dot only. I have other AR's for mid to long range. But my most fun rifle is the SBR 300 Blackout with the Omega. So quiet.

I love 300blk, I have an Aero Precision setup I built in 300blk and it's one of my favorites to shoot. Also got a 300blk single-shot break action and it's so much fun suppressed lol. If the ammo wasn't so expensive I'd shoot it a lot more. .45-like ballistics when shooting subsonic suppressed, and with a simple mag change can get 7.62x39 type ballistics out of it running supersonic loads, incredibly versatile.

Yeah that’s the down fall is the ammo price. 2 of my kids killed their first deer with a 300blk at the age of 6. Firm believer in the Barnes tac tx for hunting. I used to run a 7.62x39 it was a pws as well but damn it was gassy. But was nice to just go and pick up bulk steel case for it and have a range day.

I have a Dillon 650 and a crap ton of old 5.56 brass. I have an automated cutdown and resize setup for the brass to turn it into 300 Blk, then I just load as ususal.

14.5 .223 Wylde with pinned and welded comp, Parts include , Noveske , Larue and and JP Rifle.. for 3 gun matches i like a 16mid lenght. for truck a 7.5" 300blkout. I also like rolling my own for rifle and pistol.

Sold a bunch in last couple years down to my first ever purchased AR 15 Diamond Back ....DB15, 16″ Carbon, w/ 15″ M-LOK Rail, 5.56 NATO, Black and Savior Green, Holosun HE512T-RD. Spent darn near as much on the MRS then I did this rifle! Use it for target practice, shits n giggles, scaring daughters' boyfriends, and know how to use it in case anyone wants to fuck around and find out around my castle or with my tribe.
