Anyone here on TRT who's tried keto and tracked their SHBG before and after?

Noob question I know. I'm thinking about giving keto a go, but I've been reading that it can push SHBG up quite significantly in some ppl. That's something I'd like to keep an eye on, esp when iit comes to free T

Just trying to get an idea of what to expect and whether there are ways to minimize the potential shbg increase?

Why would you do keto? Thats a fad diet. If you want to eat low carbs, at least introduce some veggies, potatoes, oats, and fruit into your diet. Thats essentially what I'm doing right now while trying to cut weight.

there's a family history of type 2 diabetes and I want to stay ahead of it. I also have GERD and Ive heard keto may help with the inflammation too

Having diabetes doesn't mean you should ignore fiber rich plant foods. It just means dont overeat and indulge in simple sugars.
