I wasn't particularly interested or impressed in this years O.
Nothing really stands out to me as of late. But then again I am from the era of seeing Dorian Yates in person, Ronnie, Jay cutler, kevin levrone, thomas prince, phil hernon. I even liked the kai greene v phil heath saga.
We have nothing like that right now. Not that some of these guys don't look amazing and 100x better then we will ever look but that excitement is missing.
I miss the days when it was like watching a Mike Tyson fight. You were on the edge of your seat with excitement. Your whole crew was over your house watching and when someone knocked the other fighter out you and your friends start rumbling bc the adrenaline and testosterone is just too high to deny. When I used to see Dorian competing against others like Nasser, or Ronnie v Jay, you got a little taste of that.
That's what we need. We have nothing "exciting" right now, although many guys admittedly looked great.
