Guys,

Is it just me or is everyone and their brother or sister on these weight loss shots?

Everywhere I turn, I hear of people and speak personally with people who are taking these shots and to be honest, I’m seeing folks with pretty dramatic weight loss results.

It’s everywhere….but….at what cost? I’ve recently watched a video about some serious mental side effects associated with these meds. I also heard about some gastrointestinal issues as well.

Regardless….is it just me or is this medical protocol spreading like wildfire???

Let me know guys…
Everything has a cost, but everyone now a days wants instant results. They definitely do what they advertise though.
True enough man. The commercials are total cringe!!

Well, one of the biggest problems in trying to lose weight is fighting the hunger that a lot of people have, they try , but it just wares them down after a while and they give in to the hunger, that’s one of the biggest draws to GLPs I think. I believe, if people would try to do an intermittent fasting just one time and really give it a solid try, they would find that they really don’t need to take the shot. Have a friend that told me to just give IF an honest try for two weeks and see how much easier it gets, she was right !

Good thought

Yeah they work great. I look better than ever in mid 40s with very little effort on my part. I’m not trying to compete though. I use PEDs to look good and I am not ashamed to admit it. I will admit however that I am concerned about the dopamine/reward system effects of the drugs. And I have been off and on them like 4 years now.

I will probably come off in Fall and assess things again. But I am fairly certain I won’t stay on them forever. But yeah, 4mg Reta per week, 3-4iu GH and whatever you want to run for HRT or a blast. With those in place and decent genetics, it’s life on easy street. But again, I have no interest in competing nor am I interested in being extremely muscular anymore. So they work great for my purposes.

You are on to something with the dopamine stuff. There is much to learn here.

GLP 1 medications are now everywhere and are used by a huge number of people, often even by those who do not truly need them. In many cases they are taken without proper medical supervision, and even more often without a real basic understanding of nutrition, calorie management, and eating behavior.

From an effectiveness point of view, they work, and very well. Weight loss can be significant and relatively fast.

The issue, however, is the context in which they are used. In the absence of nutritional education and a structural change in habits, the result is often only temporary. When the medication is stopped, the effect tends to fade, and without a solid foundation of diet and discipline, the weight lost is often regained over time.

Even losing a significant amount of weight does not automatically change the relationship with food. If there is no real nutritional awareness and no consistent work in the kitchen and lifestyle, the result remains fragile and difficult to maintain.

In summary, they can be an effective tool, but they do not in any way replace nutritional education, discipline, and long term behavioral change.

Every1 but me,fam members, my sister has tried them all, lost 80lbs,great for her.im not a believer in taking it to stay lean.Thats come from diet and hard work..

It’s definitely not just you. GLP-1s like semaglutide, tirzepatide, and retatrutide have become incredibly common over the last couple of years. Between obesity treatment, bodybuilding, and even people chasing cosmetic weight loss, they’re everywhere now.
They can be game changers for the right person, but they’re not without trade-offs. GI issues (nausea, constipation, delayed gastric emptying) are well documented, and there are people who simply don’t tolerate them. The mental health concerns seem to be less clear—there are reports, but the data is still being sorted out.
Like anything else, they’re a tool, not magic. Diet, training, and muscle retention still matter if you want long-term success

Right on

Where you at guys…what’s the verdict?
I love Tirzeptide. Totally helped me lose 90 lbs of fat, while gaining 10lbs of muscle. Since hitting my goal weight last year I have added another 10lbs of muscle. I would say it saved my life.

Great news…seems to be a killer option in your case.

This is the most accurate statement that I've read. Kudos! Perfectly Written.

The journey. That right pic is during a Test/NPP cycle. Weight at 59 yo 235, Weight now @ 61 yo 175 lbs. As you can see I added some muscle at the same time. 45% Body Fat down to 12% today (I do a Dexa every 90 days)

That is freaking awesome. What were your doses? I’m impressed bro!

I'm just finishing up week 3 on Reta and it has been a total game changer for me. Having something to quiet the "noise" around food and have had little to no side effects running 2-4mg/week. Tried Ozempic a couple years ago and it made me feel like absolute dog shit all the time but haven't had any of that with Reta.

Been using Reta for a year lost 100lbs. 256 to around 155. Sitting at 164lbs right now and looking to keep adding some muscle. My opinion but the drugs are okay and of course will have sides, I actually went hypo and deficient in a few vitamins from such a rapid cut. Had some help from knowledgeable guys and was able to dial in bloods and diet better. Scary part is everyone doing this and don't realize it also weakened tendons and eats muscles and that alone is why I run certain things and eat certain things while using this to minimize that part. Have to keep up
With bloods and pay attention to the body if you don't know then ask and learn like I did when shit doesn't feel right. For everyone that will not do that or just inject and go with no strict diet and protein intake with exercise will have a bad day and be in rough shape.

They work, I've used every GLP including reta and lost over 100lbs because I was previously obese from some mental health issues I didn't even realize I had at the time. Only used TRT doses of test with it and the weight came off and muscle came with it. Once you're off the food desire is back almost instantly.

You see them everywhere because the marketing is peaking near viral. The story linked below helps explain why. Telehealth and white label companies allow just about anyone to offer them for sale.

I've heard two predictions. Which is true?
1) Both the FDA and the Chinese Government are expected to put a major crimp into regulating the supply chain even further. Eli Lilly's $1B legal budget will get more active, you will need to go through someone's profit channel to get peptides.
2) Genie is already of out the bottle. People want to experiment with their own treatments and are sick of the system in place. There will be work arounds.

I think both outcomes are possible. Regulators will probably make it harder for gray-market suppliers, but history shows demand doesn’t just disappear. When people want access to something, the market usually adapts. The real question is whether tighter regulations improve safety or just push more people toward less transparent sources.

USA is full of obese people and weight loss shots are extremely effective. Stress and over weight is the culprit of most of diseases, every obese person should be talking about them. Side effects...... hahahaha you are on a steroid forum - no one cares about their health as long as their body supports them to build more muscle, being healthy is not the goal but is a necessity to be able to grow more muscle for most - that's a brutal fact

I believe putting In the hard work. What happened to diet cardio. A strong work ethic. All that is in the past, now there's a shot for that !!!
