some very good advise here. Like Vision mentioned earlier something like this needs to be evaluated by doctor. There are countless reasons for water retention, some dangerous and serious and some very easy to fix. So rather than guessing and adding other preventive drugs such as AI’s I would get to the root cause before anything else.

Let's emphasize where you mentioned that there are countless reasons for water retention, some dangerous and serious and some are very easy fixes.
1000% there's many reasons why, and as men we need to drop our egos and stop assuming that it's something superficial based on the things that we are adding into our way of life, when in fact if this was any ordinary person this would be considered bells and whistles and people would seek medical attention as soon as possible.. but yet, in this way of life, we ask our peers and we like to point fingers to the things that we are doing and we start with suggestions with adding or subtracting this or that.. if this was an average Joe this would be serious, we are no different and we should treat it no different..

A full face, full shoulders and arms, clearly we can make assumptions and jump the conclusions. Swollen hands or swollen feet, any appendages, it's definitely worth a medical opinion..
