AR wes told me similar about cutting out all sugar because it feeds and grows the cancer cells
Appreciate you sincerely my man. I am gonna dive into this today and see what I can find. I absolutely agree that diet is as important to treating cancer as it is in doing a bulk or cut. Thank you @AR-15Well brother I’m no doctor so maybe things have changed but years back when I had my issues there was a lot of talk that cutting out carbs somehow starved the cancer cells.
That maybe total bullshit now but maybe worth checking into. I mean diet is super important while going through chemo and shit. I can’t believe they haven’t at least talked with you about it. But Im in no way shitting on your doctors. I’m just surprised.
Anyway man sorry if I’m wrong but your diet probably is something you’re really gonna need to watch. You probably eat good anyway I’m just saying your body is gonna be pretty beat up and depleted of a lot of shit.
I’m not lecturing brother. Just talking out loud with love and respect.

I’d be careful telling just anyone that you’re a little sore in the ass cheeks! lol I mean we understand it here but……..Morning weight 173.8
Im working this weekend so i will see how that goes. I did the infusion on Tues and had no sides Wed so I figured I was good... until I tried to get up on Thursday! Man that shit was a total sneak attack. I felt like shit and spent the day wallowing around the house. I knew it was too good to be true because I felt so good Tuesday I went to the gym after infusion and did 3 or 4 movements. I don't think the gym had any effect on my Thursday because it was 2 days prior.
In any event, yesterday was WAYYY better. I got up and out and did some prone legs, seated leg curls and high foot leg presses for 2 x 15s each. I alsi did some incline chest, Seated OHP, seated chest, and some tricep pushes in the whacky Tricep machine at gym #1!
I feel pretty good today, even a little sore in the ass cheeks, but otherwise the energy is here. I reckon thats enough for now and pics below are this morning's weight and some post workout pumps from yesterdays session. Have a great day guys.

And those wings coming out. Hell yeah! Get it man. Glad you feel better.
by fasting.. water and nothing else for 30 days up to a year I have seen happen.

LOL... WOMAN... can't live with them... can't killem! They're all nuts but she mostly puts up with me so... appreciate you bro. That's not bitching. That's unnecessary aggravation. I agree with you about that. I got divorced after 20 years so I can't give marriage advice but yeah. I can relate to that kind of thing very easily. Mine was an undercover psycho snake that took a long time to shed her skin and show her true colors. By no means am I implying that to yours. I wouldn't dare. Just talking about mine. Slowly but surely turned into her mother. The old saying if you want to see what your wife is gonna be decades down the road look at her mother might not be 100% across the board but mine damn sure was. Keep your chin up man. You'll come out on the other side better. You're one tough as nails fighter and and an inspiration. You might get tired of hearing that but guess what? It's true. God bless man. Always in everyones prayers.![]()
Theydefinatly think waaay differently than we do man!Morning weight 174.6
Im at infusion today and apparently my Magnesium is low. It seems that low Mag is another side effect of the chemo. I'm taking a Mag supplement and hoped it was cutting it. The Mag takes an hour to infuse... which drives me crazy because I give the shit to Asthma patients using the same dose over TEN MINUTES!
It is what it is, but its also one of the few days off that I get and I'd rather save the time. The Chemo meds only take 30 minutes so what gives?
I know I'm bitching about nonsense... I am off tomorrow... but so is the wife which means no joy! LOFL... at least not for me which is odd because who doesn't like weeding the yard and going into the attic to get the base for the table that sat in the garage and storage for 6 years, but is now the only table we could possibly use. To ensure the table thing...she threw the fucking kitchen table out so now the replacement tabletop... is just laying in the middle of the kitchen floor! Anyone... anyone else deal with this type of insanity or is this just my special place in hell? Have a day! LOL

Dammit man. We'll keep praying for you hoping it turns out to be a temporary thing. You're going through a lot so as much as is possible try not to dwell on it too much and keep kicking and screaming. You've already proven your strength and I believe you've got this part beat as well. You're a good man Charlie Brown. Keep fighting the good fight.Figured its time for a quick check in. Its day 3 for me and then im off 2 and on the weekend. Physically I am feeling pretty good. The sleep has been steady as has the food intake. The weights are solidly in the 172 to 177 range and energy levels seem to hold out a little longer every week. The issue now is the Neuropathies in my hands. The fingertips are kinda tingly. Its a weird thing to describe but I notice I am dropping shit regularly and having a little issue doing buttons and picking up small items in general. The doctor asked if they were steady or intermittent, and of course mine are steady, which led him to say that we will keep an eye on it. Because the steady ones are, the ones that are more prone to remain... forever!
It would absolutely just be par for the course of my life to go on ahead and beat cancer only to have to retire out on disability because I can't feel my fingers due to Chemotherapy side effects... FML. I will definitely see how this affects lifting weights. So far its only small objects so i guess I'm not gonna be a surgeon when I grow up... and that also means I can't build any more model, airplanes or ships, what the fuck![]()

See brother this is the perfect example when I say you gotta stay positive. I know you probably want to punch me in the face at this point but I’m telling ya it’s the best medicine you got.Figured its time for a quick check in. . I am feeling pretty good all things considered. I am totally looking forward to getting back in the saddle. We got a show to do you know! The fact you are holding weight through all this shows you how going into this with as much muscle as possible was so important. That and your nutrition is always on point. Not giving af about appearance at this point obviously, talking about health as that's all we care about.

Looking forward to that more than anything. Will be the best comeback story ever.I am feeling pretty good all things considered. I am totally looking forward to getting back in the saddle. We got a show to do you know!![]()
