Week 2 Summary

Big jump in the scale. Mostly bloat/body balancing out lower carbs. If I can average 2lb a week for the remainder I'll land in the mid 190s. That's the goal...then reverse diet out. Maintain weight during health phase before summer blast.

🏋️‍♂️Lifted 6/6 - Good energy and performance
🫥Cardio - 2/3 sessions in. Rowed for ~40 minutes doing 20s/10s repeats with some longer 50min intervals. I set up my garage and now I don't have any space to jump rope. Gonna need to figure this out.
👍Abs - 3/3 - Got 3 sessions in this week. Rope Crunch, Hanging Leg raises, Ab Roller
0️⃣ Alcohol - Dabbled with some 🌳 a few nights, but successfully back on no drinking post vacation. This year I'll pretty much be 48 weeks without alcohol. Only consumed on vacation

Week 3 gonna be interesting. Flying home for 7 days. Planet Fitness in my future with 1 "good" gym workout. I can get a solid lift in at PF, but just hate not knowing exact weight/reps to track progress. No body weight scale for daily progress. Did buy my mom a weight a kitchen food scale last visit, so I'll be able to track calories outside going out dinners. Christmas will be interesting, should have "healthier" food than in-laws. Ham, broccoli salad, few other things. Might be hard to get in steps/cardio.

Finished up Sunday W2D7 with a pretty packed day with limited time. Got in late Saturday and was exhausted & couldn't/didn't get up to do my long walk. Busy doing stuff around the house, but ended up getting a late walk in and then an Abs workout. Steps were only 8k. (n)

Was able to do another low carb cycle sunday. 77g of Net Carbs. 300g protein, 90g fat and 2400 calories,

Week 3. Christmas Week.
 
Week3 Day1

Last day before traveling tomorrow.

⚖️ Weight 226.6 - Up 2lbs since Saturday. Fucking snacks at the Christmas gathering.
👞 Steps - 16,500. 4 mile fasted walk pre-lift then another 25min walk this afternoon. My steps are going to take a hit this coming week. Might try to do 20-30min of cardio after lifting
🎯 Macros - 2395. 270/240/45. Been able to stay at 2400 pretty easily. Hunger hasn't been bad at all. Energy been fine.
🏋️‍♂️ Workout - Push Day. Up on most everything. Incline Smith had high reps on 1st set, but then seemed to linger and was a half rep to a full rep short on the 2nd/3rd set. Everything else up

Hoping the scale cooperates tomorrow morning. It'll be my last weight check for a week. I've packed a bunch of nutrition and will order groceries to help manage how I'm eating. Don't want to take a big step backwards away from home.

Weight - 224.8. back in the right direction after Saturday carbs. Last weigh in for a week..
Lift - Legs. Was okay. Got up at 430 so I could lift before my flight. Pendulum squats felt heavy but added 5# from last week. All other lifts 🆙

Hopefully I can get a walk in this afternoon and get to 10k steps.
 
Got to 11,000 steps. Airport walking and a late work call strolling around the nhood

Trying to hit protein levels is annoying if I don't have bunch of chicken, but got close. Chipotle double chicken helped

For all the shit planet Fitness has I'm shocked they don't have a single chest supported row that can accommodate a wide grip or an elbow flared path. Everything is narrow grip/elbows tucked.

Also, whom ever designed this needs to be kicked in the nuts. This is the opposite of how angles and counter force work.

Got groceries yesterday and supplies to stay consistent visiting home. Got a long walk in this morning, then some extra steps going to the park with the boy. Planet Fitness got the job done.

First time on NPP....17 days in seems to be going pretty well. No issues, yet. Starting to get close to peak saturation on primo. Lil veins starting to pop out in my arms. Feel like shoulders are starting to round.

⚖️ ???.?? Looking thin in the mirror. Mid section fat starting to thin out. Pinches aren't fatty when hitting the subQ shots. Wanted to take a pic in the Planet Fitness

🏋️‍♂️ Solid Pull Day at Planet fitness. Tried to match weights, felt like a good workout.
🥩 Mom's making a pretty heavy pasta tonight. 1/8 serving should put me right under calories. Try to go light on the sauce (heavy cream & a ton of gorgonzola cheese) 2386 271/250/50.

Christmas tomorrow. Hoping to get 5 miles in before everyone gets up. Try to lift mid-day at local gym that is unstaffed and badge in members. Pancakes, bacon, & eggs in the morning after presents, Spiral Ham, Sweat Potatoes, Dressing, and I've got a Pumpkin Protein Yogurt ready for desert. Think I can fit it all in.....
 
Got a plan to make it around ~2500 calories with Christmas Dinner. At 10k steps and lifting now. Gonna squeeze in 20 min cardio

Christmas!

Week 3 Day 4

Goal was the get in 5 miles this morning but my son woke up at 615am ready to go. Only got in 3.5.

Steps: should end up close to 12000
Cardio: got a little in post workout. Some bike repeats
Lifting: Push day. Good bodybuilding/power lifting gym was open and able to get in. Felt good. All different equipment so hard to tell progress, but higher than the last time I was here.

Macros I've got em checked in at 2511. So 111 over target, but I used stevia brown sugar in the sweet potato casserole, so I should be damn close. Call that a win for Christmas

Week 3 Day 5

Post Christmas: Long day, eat pretty well. Did have some small seconds so went over by 3-500 calories. It's not a big deal, especially in a big deficit I'm in. Didn't over eat or snack on endless junk all day so call it a win.

Woke up at 5, walked 4 miles fasted. Got my PWO meal and drink then apparently the 24 Hour Planet Fitness isn't aways 24 hours, so had to wait 30 minutes in the car. Caffeine was hitting right and really needed top :poop:. Luckily they opened in time.

Good legs workout. Hack Squat is a good switch from Pendulum Squats and like being able to use Abb/Adductor machines vs cables at home. Rode a bike for 20 minutes (lightly) and did some abs. Came back home and fell asleep for a bit.

⚖️ Weight: ??? -- Tracking good. Excited/Nervous to see the scale on Tuesday
🎯 Macros: Back at 2400 and pushed protein a little higher. 291/228/50
👟 Steps: at 11,000 right now. Will go for a walk in a bit then heading to a Nautical Museum tonight and get some extra walking
💪 Lifts: Everything up from the last legs workout I did at PF 8-10 weeks ago. Felt good
✅ Extra Cardio and Abs done

🔙 good back day. Different equipment but all felt good. Solid pumps as seen above. Leanness and 3D muscle bellies filling out nicely
🍞 was solid until everyone ate cake and had a piece. First slip up this week. It's okay.

Tomorrow is a test day then fly on Monday. Hopefully get 6 miles in the morning before ppl wake up. Trying to hit a low carb day but everyone/kids wants pizza for our last meal. Arg.

Yeah I've seen most of the new Matrix and HS stuff. Haven't seen an incline plate loaded press, the hip thrust, multi squat, or the upper back row machine above.

I've used this one before. I like the ROM and the force patterns of their leg ext/curl machines. They get shit on a bunch, but for $15 and their footprint, it's a damn good option for a side gym.

Not sure I've ever traveled for work and haven't been able to find one close by

Hate not having a scale to track progress. For Christmas week and being away from home I had a pretty great week. In a deficit pretty much every day. Lifted 6x. Walked every day and only 1 day sub 15k steps. Got 2 short carido session in post lift and did abs 2 or 3 times.

Roundness from the AAS plus vascularity pumping out a little is fueling motivation. I can pinch certain areas of my stomach and lower back and feel big differences.

Aggressive Deficit has been much more manageable than I thought it would be. I'll see where I'm at at 4 weeks and how the weight is dropping each week, but think I'm going to get this to 8 or 10 weeks, get close to 200. Then the final 8 weeks reduce my deficit and reverse diet to a small deficit / near maintenance at the end and hold for the health phase. I think 190 is possible. We'll see.
 
Week 3 Day 7

🍕 Macros - Family demanding California Pizza Kitchen for dinner tonight. Supposed to be my low carb day so worked backwards from that meal. Still hit 2,400 calories for the day and 313/201/66 with 65g of fiber.
👞 Steps: 16,000 steps. Walked 6 miles at 4mph this morning before everyone woke up.
💪. Rest Day. Might hit some Abs
⚖️ No Clue - We'll get a weight on Tuesday. I'm trying to not be disappointed if it's not super low.

ThenTravel Day. Flight at 10am cancelled and moved to 6pm. Throwing me off. Don't have my pre workout, just creatine and caffeine and bcaas

💪 Didn't want to lift at Planet Fitness again. Wanted to be back in my home gym. Lift went fine. Good push day. Except the old man who sat on the FUCKING pec deck for 25 minutes.

Jesus is the Pec Dec the favorite workout of everyone over 65??? I kept trying to do an exercise and would come back to it. It was like there were vultures over it. As soon as someone got up another was there to sit down

Finally a scale check after being away a week. I left on Tuesday at 224.8, so lost 2.4lbs over the week that included Christmas. I'll take that any day. Should start to settle on avg ~2.5lbs during this aggressive deficit. Hopefully take it until mid February then start adding calories/carbs.

My weight will fluctuate high and low, so it'll be interesting to see where I am over the next few days.
 
Back at home and crushed a leg workout today. Couldn't lift early morning after my walk due to errands during vacation, so lifted at lunch. The break from walking must be a good bit b/c everything was up in reps and weight.

Wish I could make during the work week to take 90 minutes off mid day :unsure:

💪 Leg Day - Good session. Lifted mid-day and felt great, wish I could do that more often
👞 16,300 - 26* this morning. Cold as fuck and windy. Gonna be cold again tomorrow

Really want to hit 220 Sunday, which will be my official start of the year weight.

⚖️ Weight - 221.4. Gonna hit 220 by Sunday 🙏. Might have to drop a row session or two this week.
🏃‍♂️ Steps - 17k. 4 mile walk in the AM. Afternoon walk, then a trip to the arcade with the boy
🐔Macros - 2400 on the head. Weight is falling at a good speed.
💪 Pull Day - Everything is up and easy. Pushed some weight up more than 5lb jumps this week. Just felt like, good day. TBol+AAS+Diet hitting right I guess
