Unless planning on a career in bodybuilding, which is not recommended, lol You wait until you've reached your natural genetic limit which in most cases is after a good 6-10 years of hard consistent training. Building that natty base will last a lifetime and make your gear gains stick that much more. Also gives your tendons, ligaments and muscles more resilient to injury.
