I just got my week 6 bloodwork back from my initial 250mg/week Test Cyp protocol (split Mon-Thu). Injections were done IM in the delts with a 29g ½" syringe, and bloods were drawn fasted on Thursday morning right before my pin to capture true trough levels. I skipped any AI (Arimidex) prophylactically as I wanted to avoid crashing my E2 and get a real sense of my aromatization rate plus any emerging sides. Toward the end of weeks 5-6 I did notice mild water retention and a day or two of itchy chest, but nothing major. Now that I have a clearer picture of my E2 response at 250mg/week, I'm planning to step up to my first blast at 500mg/week (split M-W-F) and add 0.5mg Arimidex 3x per week alongside my Test pins.

Questions for you guys:
  • Do you think 500mg is a bit aggressive for a first blast, or is it a reasonable jump?
  • Should I start the AI more conservatively at 0.5mg twice weekly and recheck bloods in 6 weeks?
On the lipid side, my HDL is lower (as expected on gear), but everything else is trending in the right direction. My LDL dropped nicely from 131 in week 1 labs down to near normal. To help support HDL, I plan to add niacin (flushing version) and citrus bergamot to my supplement stack. Overall I'm pretty happy with how things are looking, nothing seems wildly out of the ordinary, but I'm no expert. I'll be doing a follow-up blood panel in another 6 weeks for reassessment.

Anything else that stands out to you? All feedback is appreciated!
