🔥 Kits4Less.com #1 MOST LAB-TESTED SOURCE — 25% OFF YOUR FIRST ORDER! 🔥
4th week of the year that I’ve only lifted twice. The other 37 I lifted at least 3 (started Jan 13th). Had to make an executive decision. Still sore, not getting great sleep, and another full day (10 hour) field trip coming up for my youngest.
The plan is to get back into the routine this week with the field trip day being the same as my normal rest day. But I’ll see how it goes.
Started vit E (morning with other vitamins/fish oil) and p5p (before bed, with DHEA) in an attempt to mitigate prolactin. Only started a couple days before the labs. Hoping to avoid cabergoline but tbh I don’t feel bad nor am I having any high prolactin symptoms. I suppose my weight loss is slightly slower than I’d expect, but it’s still consistently within my target of 2-3lbs per week.
I do, however, have a lot of sex and apparently that can raise prolactin. Idk if it’s a lot in an objective sense, but it can be up to 5x a day with 90% of the sessions “ending” for me, which is apparently when the prolactin is produced from the sex? Idk. It’s all kinda confusing. But since I’m not feeling bad and everything is working, I’ll continue with labs every 4-6 weeks until my endo decides it needs to be addressed.
The endo also ordered a test called “macroprolactin” which is an inert form of prolactin that pops on regular prolactin tests and causes a falsely elevated result. Unsure of if that was ordered with the blood that was already tested or if it’s a second thing happening later.
