TRT & Reta? Reta dosing?

SB Labs
I've used higher doses and I still can eat like a horse if I want to but the urge to actually want to pig out is not there if that makes sense I'm still able to eat when I need to

I am only at 2.5 but I have noticed since the beginning I can eat when I need to but I don’t have the craving to overeat. Even when I tried to (had been busy and didn’t eat all day) I still wound up only getting about 650 calories in because my brain just went “I don’t want anymore, this is a good stopping point”. I could have definitely force fed myself but it just wasn’t appealing

Same here. I’m sometimes hungry and in the past when I’d eat with that feeling I’d end up in too much of a surplus (which is why I track now lol). But I’ve found that with Reta, and to a similar if much lesser extent tirz, I can actually trust my hunger to keep me at whatever weight my dosage corresponds to (I have a theory it’s actually more that a dose corresponds like a rheostat to a BF percentage rather than weight, as that’s been my experience and makes sense in my head as fat is a potent physiological and hormonallu active tissue wrt signaling).

iow if my activity is higher than usual, my hunger goes with it and my weight/BF stays the same - or even a bit of recomp with the GH in there and keeping weight steady, although once the BF% changes significantly the dose needs to shift or I gain/lose weight to get back to that BF%. It’s kinda wild tbh

It’s like being able to dial in a physique and feedback level from your bod. I really like the feeling of eating to hunger and knowing it sort of targets a BF% for me. In my last gain phase I was on tirz and serially dropped the dose to allow BF to slightly/slowly move up in a surplus and weight to move up even more. Was a great run. Now I’m on Reta and have been in maint/health for a few months and looking forward to trying the same approach this next gain phase with the Reta.

Also, not sure if it’s the Reta/GH (vs tirz/GH last cycle), but I’m on like 190mg/wk cyp and 140mg/wk primo (so a “TRT plus” health phase - but bloodwork has been immaculate and I feel terrific) and have been lifting like I’m on two or three times that level of anabolic helpers. Feels like I’m lifting as if on a much bigger cycle and walking around feelz/bloodwork is like a pure health phase. Kinda wild and not sure of exactly the cause, but I’ll take it lol

I definitely think there is some hidden magic with GH and Reta. Buddy is just over a week in and he went from good lifts and a strong recomp on Reta alone to looking like he’s blasting and mid cycle (he hasnt ran gear yet this was his first foray into any sort of PED beyond store bought preworkout).

Like immediate fullness in the muscles, shrink wrapped skin and insane endurance

What did you start with on Reta? Thinking of going low at .5 but might just start at 1

So just took my first .5mg of Reta this afternoon. Not sure if it’s mental or what, but took the shot at 6:30, at dinner at 7:15 and had no appetite.

No way it works that fast lol, right? Had to be mental…

I switched from tirz to Reta and titrate onto it. Was on 10 of tirz and basically dropped tirz by 2 and increased Reta by two each week for a month plus one week at 2/8. On 8 Reta atm and able to stay in maintenance to a slight surplus without thinking and feel really good (none of the nausea or constipation or diarrhea others get, although I do have some allodynia but it’s decreased a lot to an easily tolerated level). Going to decrease some shortly as I’m going to go into a slight surplus (250-300cal/day). Prolly 6mg.

I know others get what they need from lower doses, which is where I’d start if I was starting new (0.5 or 1mg to start, which is what I did with Tirz a couple years back), but this is what’s working for me atm. YMMV obvs

I found myself going hypo off 2mg. Can’t do whey protein without carbs anymore or I go hypo everytime. Apparently whey causes just enough of an insulin spike than now I am too sensitive. I can eat chicken or beef by itself and be fine but I learned my lesson after testing at 57 like 30 minutes post whey shake
Wait wait wait.... I think you might've just solved a huge problem for me. I drink my 50g protein shake before heading to the gym and have to fight off passing out every time. Definitely looking into this. If some carbs help tomorrow I'll be thrilled. I've always eaten after the gym- not before.

Yup.

It’s due to the fast absorption and high amount of amino acids (BCAA are the prime driver of the insulin spike I believe).

For an average person you probably wouldn’t notice much BUT add in something that jacks up your insulin sensitivity like a mother fucker?

I’ve found adding carbs to my pre workout shake has helped tremendously with my energy during workouts on Reta. The improved nutrient partitioning and insulin sensitive gives me better pumps and makes me feel less bloated and overall shitty.

But my post workout is ALWAYS some cream of rice with a whey shake. Then some yogurt with a protein/fiber cereal an hour later and I’m good. I can eat just straight chicken breast the rest of the day without any low blood sugar but the last time I did just protein and fiber all day and then had a whey shake while driving home my BG hit 57 an hour later
