I’ve been on TRT for the last few months and want to do a cycle of reta to lean up.

Trying to find the best dosing to dial it in for 8-12 weeks. Can anyone provide feedback or a guide they followed successfully?

The Reta trials started at 2mg once per week.
I started at 1mg twice per week. And after 4 weeks moved up another mg.
Now I just pin once per week. Every Sunday.
A lot of folks start off at like .5mg to test tolerance and they are seeing results.
The lowest possible dose that works is always a good starting point. Reta is supposed to be one of those long term/titrate up slowly schedules.

Awesome thank you. I’d probably start at .5mg to see where I’m at. I’m doing a bunch of research on it now, I’m seeing from the vendor I’ve used for past products that I can get Reta 10mg or Reta with BAC water at 10mg (which is literally 10x the cost).

Did you prep it yourself or get a full kit ?

.5 is a good starting point, just to see if you get any unwanted reactions from it.
I only use Hospira bac water for everything. Never vendor bac water.
The stuff I get is 30mg per vial because my wife and I are both running it. She switched from Tirz so she’s at a much lower dose than I on the reta.

Yes, I would start low,the .5 looks to be a starting point for a lot of people. For myself, I found that starting at 2mg works for me, anything lower is a waste of time. Just stay patient, if you move up to fast your more then likely going to pay the price for a few days, ask me how I know, lol.

I went from .5 to 2 increasing by .5 (took 5 weeks cuz week 4 I did 1.5 instead of 2). After my 2 weeks at 2 I started doing E6D dosing (half life is 6 days and my hunger was getting higher by day 5).

Went up to 2.5 about 18 days ago. Going to 3 in a week.


I’m on week 10 right now. I’ve seen results as low as .5 BUT there’s a dramatic difference between 2.5 and .5.

If you’re dialed in, .5 will be great as it’s got a strong nutrient partitioning effect. At higher dosages, assuming sides are not an issue, it’s almost too good to be true. I have actually gone as high as 3k calories for a week and still saw a massive shift in my body comp. I’ve never before gone to bed looking pumped and full only to wake up the next morning looking like I’ve been low carb for months. It’s potent.


I agree with lowest affective dose for a lot of things but honestly, lowest dose you can go without causing any issues has been my opinion with Reta. If your digestion is good, you’re not losing strength in the gym and everything else is going well, then titrate up. If you start getting any sides then drop back a bit.

Friend of mine is on .5m every week and has been for 10 weeks. Down 18lbs. She went up to 1 for 2 weeks and felt nauseous non stop. So she went back down and still continued to drop weight with it.
