This last week I wrapped up a cut that took me from over 206 pounds down to 168.7 pounds. (242 lbs in July ) ( 259 lbs at my highest )
Looking back, the hardest part was not the low carbs, the cardio, or even the hunger.
The hardest part was showing up on the days I had zero motivation.
What got me through was trusting the process and trusting my coach.
There were times I wanted to make changes, add more cardio, cut more food, or second guess the plan. My coach kept reminding me to stay the course and focus on consistency rather than emotions.
There were weeks where my energy was gone. Weeks where I felt like all I could see was loose skin instead of progress. Weeks where I questioned whether all the work was worth it.
But I learned something along the way:
Motivation comes and goes. Discipline stays.
The people who succeed are not the people who never struggle. They are the people who keep going anyway.
I am grateful for a coach who believed in me when I was struggling and helped me push through the tough weeks. Having someone in your corner who can see the bigger picture makes a huge difference.
Now the cut is over and the reverse diet begins. Time to recover, grow, and build some muscle.
For anyone in the middle of a long fat loss phase, trust the process. One day you will look back and realize the small daily choices changed your life.
To anyone currently grinding through a long cut, keep going. You are capable of more than you think.
Down 91 pounds. Onward and upward.
Let’s Go!!!
