The Frist ever time being lean

I get so much more attention being really aesthetic than I do on the bigger side. I also feel more accomplished as its much harder to be really aesthetic not as many ppl walk around really low bf.

100% Like when a guy weighs 230lbs with high body fat thinks they will hit the stage at 210lbs. Turns out to be 180lbs or less. :)
This is one of the most tried true sayings I've heard in this sport haha 😂 get the guy who's 260 on dbol deca saying yes I'll be 220 on stage no matter what then he's 190

I used to be lean when racing, but the difference between lean at race weight and lean almost 30 pounds heavier is crazy

I used to race long course at like 158-159 (could only hold that weight for like two weeks for an A race). Now at high 180’s and under 10% BF I look like a different species lol

Never had thigh, ab, shoulder, lat veins even at my lightest. The comments I get now are half “what are you, zero percent body fat” and half “where are your GH tablets” (that’s a direct quote from last weekend lol).

The comments I got when I was racing were people asking neighbors if I had cancer (no shit). And at 5’8”, I’m hardly big by this group’s standards - just barely not small!

This is better lol

I’ve seen it happen many times in my short time in the sport. I always try to over estimate it that way I’m not disappointed 🤣

Wife hates when I’m 8% and I agree, hungry all the damn time and feel like I look Ethiopian. I love the way I look but I’ll take moving heavy weight and 10-12% all day over that.
I get comments whether I’m 8 or 12%, now I just feel fat over 10%. Bodybuilding is a total mind fuck 🤣

Once I reach 8 or 9 hopefully I do I don't think I would ever want to be over 14 again hahah

I just enjoy the process, when it’s time to lean out I’m excited and when it’s time to grow I’m excited! Just don’t rush it and do it right or you’ll spin your tires and get no where
I just posted on my log im gradually loosing fat haha it's definitely fun

Had surgery a bit ago and after didn’t eat almost anything for a few days and only basically got liquid protein down so lost weight but disproportionately fat. When I got carbs back in and filled out a little all the veins popped but I was needing some fat on me and TW was like, I think that’s as lean as you should get. I thought my legs looked sick lol

But I wanna get laid more than look at my own damn thighs, so…

I was only 170lbs so pretty small but it blew my mind the first time I saw abs.

It was pretty cool but fuck it sucked how much the bottoms of my feet hurt from being so lean…and the first time I tried to show my stepdaughters how “easy” it is to float I sank like a fucking rock because I wasn’t fat anymore 😂

The level of vascularity I get in my legs and shit is pretty cool too.

We always want the opposite of what we’re doing. When we’re bulking, we feel fat and wanna cut. When we’re shredded we feel small and want to bulk. The ultimate mindfuck.
This is why I prefer the happy place right in the middle, and if I ever discover that place, I imagine that it will be great.

I thought I had actually hit the "perfect" size a few months for about 4 seconds but then the lighting changed and realized I was still too fat. Two days later, over shot it and was too skinny.

...the search continues.

This isn’t my “first time” getting lean, but it’s been a long, long time. I’m down to final 4-5 weeks and it’s pretty wild. I figured about 175 I’d be peeled, but it’s more like 167. I would guess I’m at 8-9%, abs super sharp with veins, delts & arms are vascular at all times.

But it has taken longer than I thought it would. I don’t really have a goal, per se, just a look I thought I was chasing. Now that I’m 8-10 weeks into it, I just want to see how lean I can get.

But I’ll be ready to reverse this thing when it’s over. But I sure will stay leaner next time around.

Just started my cut and dropped the gear back to TRT. I know I’m gonna shrink a bit and it sucks. Going for true daily abs and under 10% BF. Never in my life have been there. I think the “I’m getting small” mentality is worse then the actual diet/cardio. Lol

Love to hear y'all's Frist experiences being lean was it disappointing or great I know they say don't think you won't be disappointed because you truly aren't holding onto as much muscle as you think
Finally at 10% and I love it. Was may 15-18% 45 years ago in my youth. Worked my way up to about 45%. Now people I don't know compliment me all the time, and people I do know don't recognize me.

I agree I haven't gotten there yet but everyone I talk to says being lean puts you on a niether level of people around you
