I have several un opened 3ml BAC vials.
I have always stored them in the fridge. rather they have been opened or not and tossed any left over thats been opened within 28 days.
HOWEVER I just read on pfizer's site that BAC water should not be stored below 60 degrees or above 80 degrees otherwise it will expire in as little as 28 days even if not opened.
Now I have never had a vial over 6 months before its gotten opened/used, but now I am confused. Have I been doing it wrong all this time? I understand storing it above 80 can cause the alcohol to break down but I always thought the cooler the better when it comes to longevity.
Any of you guys store un opened BAC water in the fridge for more than a month?

Not in the fridge but I've had bac water vials/jugs (30 ml) stored at room temp for several years and still used them. I'm not dead, so take what you will from that.
Now, I've also pinned gear that was over 10 years old. It still worked fine and again, I'm not dead and I didn't have to go to the doctor or hospital because of any expired gear or bac water, so take what you will from that.
:D

It’s literally distilled water 99.1%, and benezol alcohol .9%.
How does water with alcohol expire?

I make and store my own every year or 2 in my closet. I put them in the frig with my other vials once i start using them and use them till they are gone. It's not like the alcohol or water is going to go bad. Expiration dates often have little to do with potency. Contamination maybe, but i can control that. A lot of times expiration is more about profit.

How does back water expire? Wether left in the fridge or at room temp. If left untampered in a controlled environment..... what would make it expire?.....hmmm.
I don't know but I have some that was dated & expired but I used it any way & I am still good.
I keep my back water & AA in the bath room cabinet dark & room temp Not in fridge with peptides and hgh.
Expiration date in Some cases r basically just a sales gimmick so u buy more product

I keep in fridge. Find that very hard that refrigerating anything like that would spoil. IF anything longer shelf life. With that being said, that stuff will be good for a long time. i use bac water thats been in the fridge for 6 months or longer. NEver had any problems. Anything peptide or hgh related stays in my fridge. Reconstituted or not. Obviously, all my oils room temp
So pick your poison do what you feel most comfortable

Bac water unopened and kept in cool dry dark place such as in medicine cabinet should still be viable just like unreconstituted gh would.

The guidelines are like a month, but have never once followed that timeline and never once had an issue. I buy like 90ml at a time

I also just leave them in my drawer once opened.

yeah, I’d keep it in fridge, but if it’s USP or autoclaved, just don’t be stupid with it right.
I usually have small bottles and use them quick. There never stored for months and months open. I don't like to have to many bottles a bac water on hand since I can get them from Amazon the next day.

Exactly. Source. Use. Storage. Time. BAC water is one of the easier ones.

You can easily make your own. Benzyl alcohol last virtually forever

To make 10 mL of bacteriostatic water, you need 9 units of benzyl alcohol (0.09 mL).
To make 30 mL of bacteriostatic water, you need 27 units of benzyl alcohol (0.27 mL).
To make 100 mL of bacteriostatic water, you need 90 units of benzyl alcohol (0.9 mL)

I keep benzyl alcohol on hand along with benzyl benzate for other obvious reasons.
