Hey all,

I figured I’d come here and ask some of the more experienced people. So, I am almost 49 years old now, have been crazy disciplined with the gym for a year now, five days strength training, one day cardio. My diet is decent, fairly clean, but I’m not seeing any major results beyond abs when I had a low BF%.

This lead me to the safe space of trying a cycle of pro hormones. I ended up eating like crazy, put on weight, muscle and some fat. Now I’m doing a pct with Enclomiphene 12.5. Two weeks in, I feel pretty decent, maintaining what muscle mass I gained so far.

Once this is done, I was thinking about doing a cycle of test c. What makes me a little concerned is not being able to start a pct until after it clears. In my mind, I fear major fatigue and any other sides that could come with it. How do people work through this and any suggestions would be very appreciated.

Thanks,

At 49 it’s best to get on trt or do your on trt. Natural test levels are already declined most likely and doing cycles isn’t going to help out in the long run.

Yeah that PCT ship has sailed quite some time ago lol. May as well get on trt and you can start ramping up your dose when you feel like you're ready.

Hah, so that might be why I didn’t go through much when I finished with with the pro hormones. I mean I feel decent with the Enclomiphene and I’m taking Arimistane to hopefully avoid any estrogen sides. TRT is expensive, though at least short term I could learn the routine and go about it on my own. With all my efforts, within a year, I’ve probably only put on 4 lbs of muscle. My body might be tanked though unless I go on the test for life journey.

If you can get a real script through your doctor it is cheap.

If you wanna do it on your own and get some test from a source here it would be like $50 for 3-4 months

Yep, sound advice for sure, thanks! First few things I’ll do is get blood work soon, dial in my diet while I set things up. I can see at my age chasing cycles might be a waste of time.

Thanks everyone for the input!
