I went to Walmart the other day. Saw a stray dog , he was friendly, came right up to me and let me let him . I bought his ass a rotisserie chicken. Tuesday I come home to 4 cats on my balcony.i gave them a can of tuna . Last night 3 stray dogs in my drive way . Each one got a slice of bologna and a piece of bread with peanut butter.
I feel like snow white . I feel like this is a good omen of some sort

I love to see kindness to critters. Dogs especially. But I should mention it’s dangerous to give dogs cooked bones. They splinter and cause major problems like punctures in their digestive tracts. Raw bones, on the other hand, are highly beneficial for their nutrition.

I had to learn about this the hard way. 20 something years ago my Doberman had his intestines punctured with a cooked deer rib. Like a month and $2200 later he was ok. But it wasn’t a pleasant experience for any of us involved.

You gotta watch feeding strays. They always come back and it’s super easy to fall for them.

That’s how we got one of ou first farm dogs years ago. One day this dog shows up all beat up and dragging a chain behind it. Poor dog had burns from wearing it constantly. I fed it, fell in love and it stayed. Mutual friendship thing. lol

Anyway like two or three days later this guy shows up at my house. He sees the dog and starts calling it by name. Apparently dude came to collect his dog. I had no idea but there was no fucking way Inwas giving the dog back whether he came looking for it or not. Fuck that. He was a dog beater. I told the dude either he sold me the dog or Ineas gonna beat him half to death to match the dog. Needless to say I had to pay him $250 for the dog. Money well spent. Dog lived a happy life here for 8 yrs until she died last year.

I’d hug your neck for this, dude. But I’d be afraid you’d judo chop me or something for showing affection lol. But seriously, if I didn’t need money and was already set financially, I think I’d spend my days roaming the countryside and rescuing chained up dogs or dogs you know are in bad conditions due to humans. Or any reason, really. Like a modern day Robin-hood for dogs lol.

I’d initially try and pay for the dogs but if that didn’t work I’d do some special ops ninja stuff to free them in the dead of night and take them to my canine country club where they can run in freedom in nature as intended. This mission would give me a purpose and keep me busy doing something I believe in. I could incorporate my physical training to be better equipped for the missions too. lol

Then we’d have to figure out how to change the behavior of the humans that are hoarding these dogs and I’d need some outside, professional help with that. Many people just don’t get it. And people that don’t get it, don’t get that they don’t get it. But I have always had a soft spot for man’s best friend. I have to change the channel when those super sad ASPCA commercials come on. I have those pitiful images ingrained in my head from seeing commercials just once over a decade ago. Maybe 2.

Well bro believe it or not I have another dog that I rescued from abuse too. I don’t want to sound like the dog whisperer but it’s legit.

I’ve told this here before but I was driving home one day with the old lady and at this house at one of the last stop signs before we got there. They were having a party for something. Anyway tons of beer and people which as we all know produces instant assholes. Three of those assholes were burning this little puppy that was tied up. It could only run like 4ft and these fuckheads were chasing it around burning it with Sparklers. I think that’s what they are called. Little rods with a burning tip. We stopped and I got out. The owner of the house knew who I was and we came to a quick agreement let’s say. I took that dog home for free.

Not sure exactly what he is exactly but he’s a little killing machine. Groundhogs, skunks, raccoons, snakes. He’s battled them all and brought them home to Dad dead as fuck. Lol

Dude, I teared up a little reading that and seeing his picture. What a studly little mutt. Looks like a boxer snout kinda. And I like that bottom lip he’s showing off in the pic lol. Glad you got him.

And good for you. Sounds like you have a cool little adopted fur family that you’re building. What did you name this handsome fella?

Did you happen to take a picture of him the day you brought him home?
