lets say you commit 20 misdemeanors or 3 felonies, or 1 violent crime then it gets elevated to capitol crime where you can no longer bail out and all time has to be served in full before release, no early release program. just seems the same people commit 90% of the crime and never learn

i know a female recently charged with 54 finance related felonies.
When it all came down, they dropped 50, plead guilty to the 4 and she served 30 days.
Makes me wonder why i'm so honest. millions of dollars of fraud punished by 30 days?

and don't get me started on the soft juries these days and my experience with a homocide trial

As a male u probably wouldn't have had many charges dropped.

I think they need to revamp the juvenile system. It’s basically set up for 12 year olds who run away or do other minor crimes. There needs to be a separate system for all the “kia boys” and 14-18 wanna be thugs. Or just make the adult system accept any juvenile that commits any felony.

how dare you assume my gender..... And sex is a cultural invention......
In other news, i got a buddy that got into some tax trouble and served a year.
Female judge ruling 30 days for a young female, vs female judge ruling on a middle age man.
Big difference.

See now you’re almost getting into something like mandatory minimums and you’re taking away a judge being able to use his/her discretion to adjust penalties accordingly to the severity of the crime. I mean maybe if they revamped all sentencing guidelines and crime classifications. Right now they are kinda ridiculous. Rapest gets 3 years while a street dealer gets 20 for selling 5 bags of heroin.

Now I gotta get my records. I probably have 20 misdemeanors and of course a handful of felonies. Not sure how many are actually considered violent. I’m kinda curious now. lol That was the old AR-15 btw. The new one is disgusted by his behavior! Lol

They typically call that charge stacking they slam a bunch of charges to get the person scared and make plea bargain easier for a conviction

well, i'll tell you, they had plenty of evidence. Charging documents were 22 pages. It was rediculous. Plead guilty to 4 2nd degree felonies. Female judge suspended the mandatory prison time and gave 30 days in jail. Bullshit

I'm not saying they were in the wrong I seen it two many times especially doing two prison bids

I’ve never gotten a suspended sentence for a felony. House arrest once but that’s about as good as I could ever get. Wasn’t white collar crimes though. They seem to give slaps on the wrist for white collar/financial crimes.

My last felony I ended up staying at a fed camp. That was the only deal left after fighting them for 1-1/2yrs. It was either plead to conspiracy or face all the felonies( there was a bunch at first)in front of a jury and if I lost it was 10yrs at least for just the drug charges. I took the conspiracy and 1/3 the time. I may be off a little here and there with the “exactly’s” but it’s close enough for conversation sake.

In all fairness

When I was arrested for steroid possession I initially was given 26 charges. 1 of them was misuse of a prescription bottle, bc I had ibuprofen in an old brown prescription bottle with no label on it. Also they tried to charge me with "danger to a child" because I had a child and was on steroids. So imagine that. Have you ever heard of anyone else using MJ or any other drug charged as such? You never will. They were trying to throw the book at me.

It was all dropped to 1 single charge. As it should have been in the very first place.

So while the system is certainly broken. It is also broken in and of itself. It is a complete failure. Police are an overwhelming failure and our Govt while having the greatest instrument on Earth (The Constitution) violates that regularly and is also a complete and total failure. The ENTIRE system needs to be cleansed from top to bottom. Not just the criminals but the individuals working it. Including L.E

No higher lever criminal charge is needed. This person should either be taken out back and executed or permanently relocated to a penal colony.

We need to stop accommodating the dregs of society, it's weighing our civilization down. If somehow you managed to get arrested 23 times, I don't care if it's for shoplifting or armed robbery, you are very obviously not suitable for society and should be removed one way or another immediately.
