Week 1 - 275 mcg 3x a week

Week 2 500 mcg 3x a week

Week 3 1mg 3x a week ( so far 2mg in )

During week 1 and week 2 caffeine gave me some anxiety but was manageable.

This week…… “Fuck me” is an understatement. More like.. take me out on a date talk to me nice and fuck me in the butt without Vaseline… look me in the eyes and tell me you love me and then never call me back.

had 100mg of caffeine this morning the C4 Tri Stim energy drink. It has two other compound in it ( idk what they do)

I usually drink this and I feel great!

My heart felt like it was beating out of my chest, breathing heavy as fuck, each set fucking drove my heart rate through the roof. I knew I had to stop it was scaring the shit out of me. But, everytime I stood still the energy overwhelmed me and I was about to pass out from a panic attack or some shit. So I went on the treadmill for an hour straight as I stared into the distance without blinking.

Side note: there is a tall girl like 6”7 in the treadmill next to me. She was hot. Wish I had the balls to talk to her. I’m 5”9. I want tall sons. Save my bloodline.

Anyways, I’m not working today so I knew I couldn’t sit still with all this energy. So I pushed through and did 4.5 hours of training today cardio and weight lifting. My weight training was within the proper volume. But probobly not the best idea.

I forgot that Reta increases your resting heart rate. So makes sense that the more Reta I take the more sensitive to caffeine I become.

No more caffeine for me.

Lesson learned.

Generalized anxiety disorder is more comprehensive.

Id drop any caffeine , alcohol or stims.

Absolutely more then just reta.

Anxiety is a menace.

Drop anything that may cause it.

Yeah, I did have generalized anxiety disorder for years. After trt it almost went away. I handled caffeine pretty decent before so you sure it’s more than just the Reta? And does anavar count as a stim?

Reta does raise heart rate quite a bit in some individuals, I know for me it raised it a good 15bpm. Went back down after a month or so. But you also titrated pretty quickly

Clinical trials have shown that retatrutide can raise resting heart rate by about 5–10 beats per minute. Make sure to keep your water and electrolyte intake high, and avoid doubling up on caffeine during the day. Start slow with Reta, as some people really feel the impact from the glucagon peptide.

I absolutely love Reta, and I’ve been running 1–1.5 mg twice a week (or even just 2 mg once a week) for the past year. I usually get only a slight bump in blood pressure. I train 4–5 days a week and sometimes have an energy drink or coffee in the morning, and I’ve never experienced side effects. I'm currently around 219, down from 245, and I’m not just using Reta as a fat-loss tool. I actually took a month off, and even though my appetite returned a bit, it helped rewire the way I eat and how I think about food. And personally, I think once a week shot of Reta is just fine.

Not sure about your age or health history, but if you’re concerned, a beta-blocker like nebivolol or an ACE inhibitor could be options. Most importantly, topping off electrolytes (especially magnesium) and staying hydrated is crucial for keeping blood pressure and overall health in check.

I’m not a medical expert, but that’s been my experience (I did stay at a Holiday in Express)

For sure, brother—some of my best workouts have actually been without caffeine. The only downside with Reta is that at higher doses (for me, anything over 2 mg—or even 1.5 mg depending on the source), it can impact the reward pathway and the mesolimbic dopamine system, altering the signaling environment. This can make you feel less motivated or reduce the sense of reward in certain situations... so people might grab more caffeine/stims.

Yeah deff have noticed this. I also think it has something to do with being on such a large deficit. I can’t imagine your body is so happy go lucky on such a steep deficit.

Thanks for the advice.

GLP1s are known to increase RHR. How has yours changed since starting?

I’d stay away from the caffeine or at least cut some out. I’ve been drinking coffee for 50 yrs so it doesn’t do much for me unless it’s a lot. I recently started the ECA stack, taking a break from Reta for 5-6 weeks and I can tell you, don’t use that unless you can tolerate the combination, thought my RHR was up good on Reta, really went up with eca.

In case you're curious, we do have some members here that would be interested in helping with this.
Var spikes bp and this causes anxiety.

Propanolol at 20-40mgs under the tongue is the cure for BP induced anxiety.

Any anabolic can increase anxiety.

Have your cures on hand.

Benzos have nasty withdrawal, but Xanax and Ativan are miracle drugs.

If u run nebivilol or propranolol as BP meds it can counteract cycle based anxiety.

Increase magnesium intake and hydration as well.

I carry nebivilol aka bystolic...even 5mgs a day can help...for.severe issues run 10-20mgs 1/2x a day.

In am and before bed.

No ED issues w this compound.

Totally agree with this. It’s wild how even a modest dose of testosterone can noticeably amplify the effects of caffeine and other stimulants. You’re basically seeing β-adrenergic receptor upregulation, improved mitochondrial biogenesis and oxidative enzyme expression, and maybe a slight bump in CYP1A2 activity — all working together for some pretty cool pharmacodynamic synergy.

On the flip side, Nandrolone seems to do the opposite, especially for people on ADD meds. It tends to blunt dopaminergic signaling and reduce D2 receptor sensitivity, while leaning more toward serotonergic and GABAergic activity. That can flatten mood and dampen the stimulant response. Just a great example of how different androgens can hit totally different neurochemical pathways, even though they look similar on paper.

If you look at every single study on anxiety it shows a magnesium deficiency in users.

I suffered severe anxiety and I administered psych meds for 20+ years so I promise you guys what I speak is truth

I'm here to help. No money asked.

Get yourself in electrolytes and magnesium. Effervescent is best..I use Banana bags and I sell them

Or if u can afford to go to a clinic and have a banana bag IV, I promise you it will help

Steroids that spike BP cause anxiety...some peptides do too. Even mT2.

Lower ur BP. Hemoglobin etc. Donate blood regularly , hydrate mega well

Easy peasey. Listen to me. I speak from experience. Not asking for a pat on the back.

I'm here to help 🙏🏼

Thanks for the useful advice! Much appreciated. what are your thoughts on cialis and telmisartan? For blood pressure / hematocrit / cardiovascular health?

My hematocrit went from 46-53 in the last few years naturally. But I did take the blood test dehydrated. So idk if that screws results much. Plus how do you give blood without losing too much iron causing fatigue?

I would assume this is the culprit personally
Idk how motherfuckers are out here taking 9mg. Chase irons talks about it like it’s a walk in the park haha. He did mention it would elevate heart rate, yet it would go down as you lost more weight.
