I don't think it's that true. It is more likely their primary parental figure. My wife's mom wasn't always around, so she intentionally doesn't want to be like her or pick up her bad habits.

Man, I'm no body to be giving advice on this topic, lol but I can share some of my experiences in a short summary, many women turn out messed up more from their relationship with their father or lack their of than their mother, especially how they treat you as the man of the house. If they're unhealed from past hurts and trauma from their dad or their mom who walked all over her dad... you're most likely going to experience that x10. the dating pool today is 95%+toxic, stay single build your life, let you wife find you. Girlfriends don't turn into wives, they're just better at lying, eventually their masks will fall off and that monster will rear its' ugly head as your Mrs. choose wisely and slowly my friend

when I was dating still… I wouldn’t become fully committed until I seen the mother lol simply because of looks. I needed to know what they would look like in 30-40 years based off of that I would decide weather we became serious or not
