At ASF, we’re all about welcoming and supporting new members. It’s been our thing since day 1... Over the years, the vibe here has evolved, sure things changed, thanks to a bunch of seasoned people, and many, many others who are at different levels in fitness who all brought class, shared their knowledge, and are always up for learning something new.
Those people are the backbone that represent ASF..

We love sarcastic banter here, like a rough game of two-hand touch football. But when new join dates jump in and get a little too intense right off the bat, it can be skeptical since we don’t know much about them. A friendly introduction goes a long way! Speaking in which, most don't share their goals, or what they're doing.
Getting accepted and respected here usually means diving into different areas, not just sticking to a small group that can sometimes turn into an echo chamber. It’s not fair to the members who contribute a lot and they them very selves are hoping and expecting to see resolves for their own education and self-awareness, and unfortunately, a few bad apples have spoiled some great opportunities.
Yes, this is happened before with many things over the years. Change is unavoidable...
The posts by BigJ
@Bigjape34 and
@big_rich clearly define the exact essence of what "this" community is about in a display on speaking respectfully back and forth, giving each other mutual respect which was earned between one another...
Respect here is earned through conduct and the way members treat one another. It is not granted through demands or ultimatums, especially from newcomers who mistakenly believe such behavior will be accepted or tolerated.
If some people foolishly believe, that a new influence will disrupt the community where it stands.
They will be quite disappointed to find out, that some threads have been locked by the very Admin.
That doesn't translate to forever, things can and will be unlocked, or not.
Depend on the topic and how people are conducting themselves.
However, if the recent relocating of new members or problematic members who have been sent to Oblivion, or threads being locked hasn't sent the message yet.
Some members could consequently deal with the community staff, who are very fair, unbiased, and equally balanced, last but not least reasonable and lenient people. When their buttons aren't pushed.
As for PSL, the entire team of Representatives works tirelessly to establish strong communication and foster relationships with everyone they interact with, the community could attest.
Show me a single instance where a representative has knowingly and intentionally mistreated a member or customer. You won't find one. These representatives are members first, and their dedication is evident in the interactions that has been visible in all of their posts and contributions to this very community for over 15 years.
This is what it means to contribute and be part of a ASF. Anything less is simply unacceptable. Trash....
