You look fantastic! Very impressive progress!!Here is where I was a year ago at the end of my cut vs this morning. Conditioning is close. I'm leaner than Justin had me before he started the rebound phase.

Fuck I love this. Thank you for your feedback. I'd rather do open than classic anyway. I just thought classic is where you start and then grow into open. Saying that out loud, I realize how dumb that is considering each division has weight caps.I get it.
You're very balanced. You've got a really good structure for open bodybuilding to be very competitive.
I think you fit into open better then classic though. Just need a bit more quad sweep, adductors and back thickness.
If you grow, open will only be better a fit IMO. The waist isn't big but, it's not tiny. Added sweep on the quads would help though.

An influx of Fructose/sucrose makes the liver secrete a hormone called FGF21 which supposably has a big impact on metabolism. Eating sugar, but mostly fructose in the absence of protein and fat makes your metabolism speed up like crazy. Sounds like protein inhibits FGF21.summary?![]()

Sounded like a good option for if you are at the end of cut when your metabolism will be the slowest. So we will see what happens.
If I hear about Ray Peat one more time…..Jesus f'ing Christ. This sugar diet has been around for decades. Nothing new. Different names and variations such as skip loading, high carb day, etc.

I'll do 2 high carb days a week in the off-season where I eat 900g of carbs and more than half are from sugar, but if you think going on this full time for any length of time is good while taking in practically no protein? Have fun with that. Name me one bodybuilder who does the sugar fad diet as outlined by the influencers. Waiting.... Waiting...

Doesnt really work if u eat candy and soda all the time year round tho so im out. altho it sounds cool like maybe i could have one day where i eat like 500g of whey, then 1 day i just eat candy all day? might actually give that a try
