Maybe one day it might come true for him but I think it shows his age and immaturity in the sport.

Afterall Nick is still just a kid and that's a kids mentality to think bc you are a decent bodybuilder, somehow you have talent to act too.

All BS aside, yeah Arnies english was shit at beginning of his career, but he actually WAS great at his parts they would cast him in, quiet/buff/scary killer

That role suited him perfectly for his vast vocabulary at the time. Arnold was a go getter, but seems everything played out for him perfectly. Nick Walker could play SpongeBob with the inflatable arms!

I like Nick Walker and if this was 1985, I think it'd be a no-brainer. But the world doesn't seem to want guys like that in movies anymore. The only "action stars" today are basically the same guys who were action stars in the 80s / early 90s. The Rock is the only newer one I can think of and even he has been around a long time so it's like by default that he's still making movies. And the movies he does make are fucking Jungle Cruise BS and shit like that. There are no more Terminator's or Kickboxers or Rambos. I wish there were. This limp wristed culture doesn't want that shit anymore.

I’m going to have to respectfully disagree. People still respond to things they like (in this case men still enjoying watching swole lunatics murdering swathes of bad guys). However, the jerkoffs who make movies try to sway the public’s taste by only releasing things they deem to be appropriate. This is a big part of the reason why the industry is falling apart. When they do make something that is unabashedly masculine (like John Wick) it does gangbusters.

TLDR: The problem is with the people making movies, not the people watching them.

Exactly. The Rock has great charisma, he could be the next Arnold but sadly he is terrible at picking movies (not that he has much choice in today's cinema), he's wants to be a blockbuster guy like Arnold but big action packed films these days are so shit. Only good ones he did was Walking Tall and Snitch.

Exactly, for a while we kept getting remakes, then we started getting remakes with an all female cast. Now we're getting cartoons being made into live action. Because of courose we love remakes apparently.
