Need Help with back pain

I’m 22 years old with a herniation of an intervertebral disc between l4 and l5. Life has been miserable for the past year due to the lower back pain (it hurts everyday, especially when sitting).

I’ve been out of the gym for about 6 months due to the pain. I’ve lost a lot of my gains.

I’ve been going to physical therapy for the past few months, but I haven’t seen much improvement.

I’m wondering if anyone has any recommendations? And whether BPC 157 would be a viable option in this scenario.
 
Sorry to hear about the injury. That is a painful spot in the lumbar too.

PT is usually your best bet aside from surgery. If you haven't gotten anything out of your current PT, maybe try another one. There are good and bad ones just like every other field.

BPC-157 has been mostly miss in these types of injuries at least in my experience and the limited evidence we have in the literature. I've spoken with a number of top surgeons in NYC who are up to date on the compound and it's an area that doesn't seem to respond well to the compound.

Have you looked into surgery?
 
I had that disc herniated for many years mostly i could work around it with keeping muscles strong as well as flexibility and going to the chiro on the rare occasion. If it hasn't heeled on it's own which happens a lot. Peptides HGH etc did nothing for me. There is surgery. When mine started effecting my lifestyle i had surgery, fusion as well as a couple metal rods put in as L5-S1 was compromised as well. Was back to work in a week and the gym as well doing what i could do.
Have you been to a good sports medicine Orthopedic surgeon? What do they say. A couple different ones is a good start to se what differing opinions may bring.
 
Chiropractor immediately and get some imaging sir. Then come back and see us.

No worries. LIterally probably every single one of us has been injured and out of the gym for periods of time. We all bounce back and you will too. But FIX that injury first, don't take it lightly. The back is no joke and a spine injury can cause massive other injuries or imbalances. Do it properly the first time is my advice.

I had a bulging disc in 2010? From competing in Strongman and some of our lifts. It was so bad, when I fed my daughter a bottle, I had to have someone take me by the hand and pull me out of the seated position. It was awful. I am not exaggerating. It lasted for months.

CHIRO CHIRO CHIRO. Get the best, don't skimp on a cheap one bc of money. Insurance should cover much of it.
 
I eased a similar disc issue by doing daily gentle core work, short walks, and avoiding long sits. Easing back in with light machines first helped me rebuild without flaring things up.
 
I’ve had better luck with smoother dosing after switching to oils that use mct because it makes the cannabinoids kick in more consistently for me. I just check the label or COA to be sure it’s in there, since some brands swap the carrier oil around. Digestive stuff was mild and settled fast, but everyone’s different, so I just eased in with smaller amounts.
 
Had shots done twice and it lasted 5 years also Inversion table works very well. Have same discs l4 l5 that is herniated. Strengthen your muscles around those areas. Superman flys have worked for me also.
