Mrs. BGT here, happy to see some of these familiar members. TBH I’m here for help, please take the time to read and share this.

Hey everyone. I never thought I’d be making a post like this, but I’m reaching out to a community that meant so much to my husband for many years.
My husband was very active in the bodybuilding forums and communities for a long time under the username “Big Gain Time.” He always tried to help people however he could — answering questions, giving honest advice, supporting newcomers, and treating people fairly and respectfully. He genuinely cared about this community and the people in it.
I’m not exactly sure which specific forums he was a part of over the years, but I recognize several members here, and I’m hoping maybe he made enough of an impact on people that they may want to help our family now the same way he tried to help others for so many years.
On May 31, 2024, my husband lost his battle with mental health and died by suicide. He left behind me, his wife, and our three children. Our lives have been completely shattered, and we are still trying to find our footing after such an unimaginable loss. It is coming up on 2 years and our grief and struggle is at an all time high.
I’ve carried my children and I as far as I possibly can on my own without reaching out for help, but I’m at a point now where I have to. Asking for help is not easy for me, but I know my husband spent years being there for people in these communities, and I’m praying that maybe some of that kindness can come back around to help my family now.
If you knew him from the forums, trained with him, talked with him over the years, or if he ever helped you in any way, I would be incredibly grateful for your support, kind words, prayers, or even simply sharing this post.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for being part of something that meant so much to him.
