Finishing second week of first cycle, 300T cyp, 200M ent (pinning daily), 6iu HGH (4 before bed, 2 first thing in the morning), 3mg Reta.

I've also added 5-Amino and SLU injectables. I take the 5-Amino with morning HGH and SLU before workout (jury is out on both).

I'm down 70lbs in this 7 month stretch, 1600 calories per day for the first 5 months. Then moved to 1800 for a month, now up to 2075. I weigh every gram of food that goes into my formerly fat face, only have one scoop protein powder once a day.

Training days 195p/55f/200c
Rest days 185p/45f/175c
30 minutes cardio 7 days a week, 15-20 of that all zone 2.
Sleep is solid at 7 hours.
Nutrition is solid.
Digestion/bowels solid.
Water intake solid.
I'm fuckin dialed, man.

I'm 5'10", 181lbs. 48 years old, ~13-15% body fat. Maybe 15-16? I'm a decently high aromatizer (pre-cycle was 180mg test cyp 3x weekly resulting in 1435 total, 295 free and 110 e2 with no sides). Rest of blood work is solid.

I weigh every morning and measure/progress pics once a week. I feel like this last 10-15lbs is going to take another 2-3 months at this rate.

I do work with a coach (hope he's not on here reading this....) but I'm just over this damn cut. I genuinely don't even care about the food even though I could easily eat the fridge. I'm tempted to go back down to 1600 calories again, but I'm not convinced that is the best. Coach definitely wouldn't like it.

All that to say, I'm looking for advice. My 4 week labs will be drawn in a couple weeks and assuming labs are as good as I expect it, I'm really leaning towards throwing something else at this dumpster fire of body fat. Anavar comes to mind.

Goal is to reach ~10% body fat and go on a lean bulk, try out some other compounds.

Would anyone like to point me to a rabbit hole I can jump down?

Listen to your damn coach. The worst option is getting impatient. This isn't a sprint, it's a marathon.

Also drop the Slu and 5-Amino as it's not going to do much of anything except drain your wallet. Unless your coach wants you on it obviously.

I picked up both on a good deal so I’ve got plenty of stock. I don’t see any change in RHR or average HR when running them so honestly I’d be fine to drop them if they aren’t serving a purpose. I’m not sure they aren’t but not sure they are.

You’re right about listening to coach. I woke up this morning feeling like I’m just being a bitch about it. I had December 1 as my original finish line goal and with November hitting this weekend it’s really setting in that I’m unlikely to hit 12/1 goal.

Ipatient?
10lbs a month!
Your doing great man.
You wont be losing like that at this point anymore.
Stay the course.
From ur pic?
Appears ur making it happen!
Congrats on the 70 gone already.

Thanks, bro. Maybe I just needed a pep talk and stop being a little bitch. I have a steep price to pay for being a lazy fuck. This pic was a month before I went scorched earth.

This or get a new coach.

If I’m not listening to my current coach what makes you think I’d listen to the next?

I don’t have any problem following my coach’s plan, I was really just looking for second opinions from guys I respect who have no skin in my game.

I’m also wondering if me posting this was indeed the first sign that my higher e2 is actually now presenting sides what a first post.

Man, congrats on the transformation, first off. Also, anavar will be a lot of fun but...

I will say, with how deep you are and the rate of fat loss, I wouldn't go down on calories. I'd listen to your coach, but also don't be afraid to say, "dude, I'm getting burnt out". Plateaus are real and if you're not trying to compete, a small detour can do wonders.

That said, I dropped 45lb last year after a bulk that went off the rails... at just 45lb down, I was hitting a wall in training/recovery at 1800 calories. So I actually just took a two week hiatus. Ate what I wanted, gained 15lb and then got back to it.

Miraculously, water weight dropped quick and fat loss resumed and I felt way better. At 2500 cals and losing now.

Just my experience and what kept me sane.

Thanks man, and I appreciate that insight. I say I’m not hung up on the scale but I think there’s some of that in my frustration. 500mg of AAS weekly is going to slow the drop for sure if not add to it, I just need to be mindful of that. I think all things in context, I’m still headed in the right direction. Just got really used to that, “I can drop as much weight as I want as quickly as I want” results and mindset.

It might not be 12/1 timeline, but we’re getting to that 10% body fat goal. And it will be sooner than later.

Talking with my coach, if I’m still whining after labs come back (3 weeks from now) we may up to 400T/300M.

Totally get it. When you have diet fatigue and are determined to get to that end goal, even a small plateau or slowing progress can be a frustrsting mindfuck.

I would definitely rely more on the mirror than the scale if you add Anavar or more AAS volume.

As someone who obsesses over the numbers, I know that's easier said than done.

You got this, man!

This is what gets guys in trouble. A client will go to a message board and hear 50 different things and then start questioning their coach. :)

Well absolutely, the coach has helped me be successful up until now so certainly he doesn't know what he's doing anymore.

...that really sounds stupid when you read it, doesn't it. 🤣

It's like me having an accountant that has saved me a ton of money over the years, and I go to a random message board and get opinions from non-accountants.

Whoa whoa whoa - let's get something clear.

I've been working with my coach for 6 weeks. I did everything from April 20 until 6 weeks ago on my own with zero input from anyone. I lost 65lbs on my own, I've lost 5 since being with coach but I certainly don't attribute those 5lbs to him at all.

Hence why I'm simply soliciting other opinions as we get into the nitty gritty and progress is slower to come.

I hired him because he knows gear and I wanted to use gear. I also wanted to be sure I wasn't spinning my wheels with my workouts. With exceptions of his drop sets, rest/pause sets and supersets, my workout and his were nearly identical.

My progress is in my hands and my hands alone, thankyouverymuch.

Completely missing the point dude. Forget it.

Sounds like you have it all figured out. I’m sure your coach would love that you are asking random people for advice after hiring him. 😉 I know I would be.

Oh I get it, you're the guy that just has to be right regardless of how wrong you actually are. Do you find a lot of conflict in life as well or is it just message boards? There's no need for the posturing.

Any objective reader can see I'm not being a knucklehead about this. I'm new to the game and am curious about how others might approach the challenge in front of me. It really is as simple as that.

Thanks, brother. Yeah man I just got really used to the pace of results, gotta be patient and stay locked in. The last 10-15lbs is a bigger grind than the first 70 and it isn’t close.
