Knee sleeves

When it comes to knee sleeves, just measure properly and buy SBD or Inzer.. I’ve used a ton of them both for competitive powerlifting and bodybuilding purposes, and those two are in leagues of their own. If you want extra tight, size down once off of your measurements. Otherwise buy the recommended size
I heard SBDs aren’t what they used to be. Inzers probably top sleeves and probably would help with my big calves, I saw they fit lose around the calf area, the A7 are hourglass shaped, narrow at the knee joint then opens up at the quad and calf area. I just got them too small i believe, I used to be L in A7 cone sleeves, so got L. Nope I fit both an XL and a 2XL. Went with a 2XL just be safe my calves make it through. Will update when I get them.

I got some Nordic lifting neoprene ones and also some sleeves with a hole for the patella (which I prefer).

May pull the trigger on some Gymreapers but those are pricey.

Will also get some Achilles support socks too to support and protect my Achilles.

How much are the gym reapers?

I have big calves too and now wear an XL sleeve.

That’s not too bad if you have knee issues, discomfort, I’d say definitely worth it. These A7s were 100 and just got another pair in a bigger size. The support on my bad knees was incredible.
My knees are beat to shit, particularly my right one is unstable so sleeves work well for me.

SBD is where it’s at for sleeves. I always size down for a nice tight fit, but no sleeves compare for me.

SBD's are in a league of their own, I wear a 3xl and they have held up perfectly fine with 6 plate squats all fall and winter

Nice vascularity in calves bro. I do notice wearing knee sleeves around the house can get a little constricting so bought plain Lycra sleeves for that.
I can’t walk in these. Having these on reminds me of that dude on YouTube at the PL meet walking out in wraps to squat and couldn’t bend his legs at all, he then unracks and just falls forward 🤣🤣 I’m gonna have to look it up so funny

Ya neoprene sleeves can feel awkward when not in the gym. Bet that must been pretty painful for that dude!

There are sleeves made of lycra (same material tights are made of) for keeping knees stable for walking and doing things around the house and are less constricting. I have one sleeve for my right knee that can get very unstable (damaged meniscus never fixed) and I wear it when walking/hiking.
