I know a lot of you have kids out there. We try to live a somewhat healthy lifestyle. I've noticed my 2 boys just do not eat good. Lots of sugars/carbs. Empty calories basically chips soda junk food you name it. Getting them to eat somewhat healthy is a pain in the ass!! Can anyone recommend a good kids multivitamin that doesn't taste like vitamins? Or maybe some tips on how to get the right nutrient in them.

Literally any kids gummy. Obvioualy has added sugar but if they cant swallow pills ots a good idea.

Do you know why they eat like shit? The food has to be bought... By someone... Know whay im getting at?

My daughter likes the gummies. NautreSmart brand. And of course being a little girl they are Disney princess ones.
but really brother, you being the parental you should have authority on what they do/don't eat to some extent. Don't get me wrong mine eats her candy and Popsicles but they are regulated and healthy food is enforced.

Mine have been drinking water for so long, they ask for it over soda. Honestly we don't even buy soda, or sugar drinks. Mainly milk and water. They are rewarded with sweets from time to time and the rule is if they don't eat, their plate is placed in the fridge for a couple of hours until they get hungry. Most of the time there is no substitution. For the most part they are hardly ever sick (maybe a stuffy nose from time to time due to the house being kept at a cold).

This, mine has never tried soda and she's 7. We just had her b day party. Her friends and parents came over and we had a ice chest with water, soda, juices the kids were pounding the sodas. Parents were fine with it. I was left with a ice chest full of juices.

Parents these days.

Who stole your kids and is holding them prisoner and feeding them crap?

My kids eat well, with healthy food made from whole foods.

def my fault! I started late and now I'm feeling the effects of not enforcing those rules early on.

I have a first wife and split time with my oldest, who is a picky eater, thanks to the ex. I am remarried, and my wife cooks healthy food, chicken and rice and broccoli or a spinach salad, that sort of thing. He would sit there and pick at it for two hours. She finally had a fit and declared that he would eat it all within 30 minutes or he would have it for breakfast. I was all like, "What?" but I decided not to intervene. A week of eating wilted salad for breakfast the next morning, and the boy was cured. He literally eats anything now.

Ironically, he no longer likes eating his mother's crappy frozen boxed food. He eats with us whenever given a choice if he can hang out for one more meal.

The pain of enforcing is temporary.

My toddler asked to climb on my lap this morning, and she helped me eat my eggs and oatmeal (stealing my Gainz!).

Gonna have to resort to tough love I guess! But In the meantime, are all Multis created equal? I mean should I be looking for anything special?

If you don't correct their diet now they'll never change. Life extension makes a kids vitamin. My Thai ex feeds my son Thai food every day and it's very healthy. I don't worry about him. He loves vegetables, hates candy and junk food. But we raised him only on healthy food.

Look kids vitacode chewables they use natural ingredients and are packed with plenty of vitamins and minerals

The kids gummys are the way togo for multi,,fish oils etc. There have been some recalls on lit critter brands i think but all should be g2g by now..

My 9yr old gets up every mourn & takes them on her own..Theres been a couple brands she wouldnt take but the store brands,,target,,walgreens etc have been ok..

After looking at the ingredients of multiple vitamin companies vitacode is the one that shines through. Go look for yourself and compare labels you will see that most of the other kids multi don't even come close.

Save your money, they dont need them if you feed them right.

Some crazy expensive gummy crap from a local health food store.
My kids eat total junk sometimes..frequently even..but some of their favorite snacks are cherry tomatoes ..cucumbers..oranges.
They love brown rice and any meat put in front of them. Out of my 4 I have to wrestle with three when there is things like shrimp lobster steamers etc..

But they definitely like total crap too. I don't care and refuse to give them a complex one way or the other as long as they get basic nutrition.
